This is a summary on the best pairs EUR/CHF have one of the best result on most brokers with the least drawdown,

EUR/GBP is the second best profitable currency,though it have some drawdowns.

EUR/USD is the 3rd profitable on some brokers only,but it huge losses can run your account down.

As promised, here is my update after the second week of running DragonPips and Megadroid together

 

Live account, same settings as the ones I have previously posted however I have decided to drop EURGBP and only trade EURCHF with DragonPips and am using the megadroid pro version so am trading three pairs with this (USDCHF, EURUSD and EURCHF)

 

So far, so good and extensive backtesting with this setup seems to be very profitable

1 to 3 is also profitable as i have seen so many using it on lite forex, from the manual,the given for odl securities is 23 - 1

and comparing to Nigerian time for example........while ODL is +1, Lite forex is +2,

So from the manual the stated time for ODL 23 - 1,So lite forex should be 24 - 2

Here the results of tonight.. setting are the same of yesterday. This time very good eurgbp and bad eurchf. Eurusd bad again. No trade on fxcm.

On Sig I only traded eurgbp and eurchf. On Tadawul eurgbp eurchf and eurusd

I tried dragonpips v3_4digit but says “License not registrated!” anybody knows why? Instead no problem with v3_universal. May I know also which are exactly the differences between v3_4digit and v3_universal? Many thanks ;)

I want to say thanks to ''starting'' and ''ryaz'' for their contribution.

Please can we all continue to post all our results,this will enable us to know which currency pairs and which version makes most profit. Thanks to all those who have been posting their statments and to those that i assigned to run test on Fxcbs and FXCM am still waiting to see some of your test results here.

To all those that have not tasted any of the EA's please,post your results on the forum. And check your time setting very well.If you are confused about the right time setting for you broker you can post a request here,i believe we can all help each other.

Things I noticed are:

- On SIG v2 and v3 versions work almost the same.

- On ECN based broker I have seen big differences between Fxcbs anf ATC. Great on ATC an so bad on fxcbs (with the same settings).. It looks like 2 differents EA at all.. unfortunately ATC is NFA regulated and Fxcbs seems to be one of the best alternative like for spreads. Have you an idea why the EA works so different with 2 so similar brokers?

- All biggest losses happens when the position isn’t closed maximum after few minuts from CloseHour.. do you agree? It would be possible to add a feauture like “close all open position at a predefined time”?

I strongly agree with you,the difference in your results with fxcbs and atc is that,fxcbs do have a way of delaying their data sometimes(i dont know if it is done intensionally,occasionally you can monitor your time difference with their brokers,once you notice any difference in minutes after the opening hour of the hour hand,then u'll likely get wrong results) while atc gives a streamlined data which i think can b compared with SIG(very few honest brokers give this type of data) .

This is very correct,but how can a close script be added so as to close all open positions at a predefined time,the challenge am having is how to arrive at a calculated close time for any open position,any idea ? Nice work

This time or SIG real account i had quite bad results; on ATC good as always; on fxcbs strange as always as well.

I payed attention to fxcbs datas and the strange thing is that they seems not to differ too much from atc’s ..it just seems another EA at all.. :-?? ..it’s a pity because an ECN would be the best for this EA I think.

 

I’m just ignoring a little eurusd because it gave the hugest losses.

 

Unfortunately I’m not such a good coder to realize the modify we talked about to close all open order at a predefined time ..but I had another idea..maybe would be a good thing to thighten the stoploss because the EA win when the market range but when it breaks, the losses are too big.. I know that thightening the sl it will be hitten more frequently but the losses wil be much smaller.. just an idea

Opppppppss.I think the are some mistakes in the previous post i did relating to 1hr. DP will trade best using the following time setting. These are the safest

SIG 0 - 2

Gomarket 22-0

ODL 23-1

adding an extra 1hr to the time could blow up your account one day. [-O<

u can backtest and see that using the above time will give u the best result on DP with the least loss. Pls do a back test 4 ur self

guys, I keep getting "zero divide" that first happened in v2 and now v3 as well. This does not allow any trades. Any ideas?

i figured it out.

If you put "1" in max trades, it gives that error msg.

I didn't want it to take up to 5 trades at once, so I changed the setting to 1, and that is when the error ocurred.

Hey.. When you say real account do you mean live account number with real dollars involved.. I would never publish my LIVE account number with any of the stat sites... When MT4 sends the publish info to the stat sites it includes the Broker Name and Broker account number.. The stats sites then have your real info.. They also have you internet info.. They just blank it out when displaying the web page.. Dont know about you but they aint gonna get my real numbers.. Demo account who cares..

I would maybe trust mt4live a little bit.. The owner hangs out at TSD.. I have no idea where the owner of mt4stat hangs out.. Be carefull on the net and what info you release..

The big losses where two other ea's that are not on my account anymore. DP has always been steady and dependable. I have 2 other ea's on this account as well, that is why it shows different pairs.

And just HOW do you know that??? What if the Broker itself was involved with the stat page (or had the info sold to him) and decided to do stop hunting on just your account.. I'm just saying one of the many possible things that could happen..

 

You know the broker can control each and every account seperatly thru the tools they have on the broker side..

 

Do what you feel you must.. Just remember that ANYTHING you put out on the internet is now Public Domain..

 

I just cant see ANY reason to publish my LIVE REAL account info with anybody.. Even if I owned my on stat page service I would still never publish live data.. Its just to easy to hijack a web site and even possibly getting to the actualy database the site owners are using..

 

For my own self personally I have a laptop running a DEMO account (which I publish) that has the same EA's and stuff that my LIVE laptop has (which has publishing Disabled)... If I just want to get a quick glance I will check the DEMO laptop stat page.. The DEMO laptop and the LIVE laptop match exactly about 99% of the time.. Every now and then there is a slight difference but mostly in swap fees etc...
