The amibroker installation should be a default path installation and NOT a custom path installation, like any other directory. C:\Program Files (x86)\AmiBroker\broker.exe is OK but d:\Program Files\AmiBroker\broker.exe is NOT OK. 2. Limit your backfills to a low number of days. Not the whole year ! Tried for 30 days worked. Anything beyond this number, there is a warning that Trial account backfill is only for 30 days. I always keep my ami folder on a separate drive other than C in case of windows goin kaput. Guess I will have to do it this way now. Will report back on how it goes for me. overclockthesun Posted August 21, 2020 Report Share Posted August 21, 2020 Edit: Ok so I tried installing it. MY aMi is on another drive. It installed and worked fine. It automatically created the db and started rtd data. The 30 days issue with backfilling exists but only if you try to backfill everything at once. Backfill each scrip separately and do it leavng a gap of a few minutes between each and it works fine. No interest rate futures included here. Some equity scirps don't have any data past 1 month eg: dmart. Other than that it is working fine and is quite fast. Default db interval is 5 minutes which can be changed to 1 minute in settings. Nice find @shenong and do keep us updated on what the author does with a fix in the future. Thanks a lot. Will check with the entire bouqet of stocks on the nifty 50 index tomorrow. since it was after market hours, I only tested commodities which works till midnight. kunaraj11 Posted August 24, 2020 Report Share Posted August 24, 2020 Software works well with 30days backfill and comfortable livedatafeed without any problem, install in c://programfiles(x86)/amifeeder is right choice with replace crack file, registration problem persists,but give some random registration is accepted, but one problem seen with datafeed, Trading volume, Open interest is not matched with acutual data shown in NSEINDIA website, but price matches, so be carefull if scanner used for analysis. overclockthesun Posted August 26, 2020 Report Share Posted August 26, 2020 So the issues I have noticed 1) registration expires on every restart. 2) you need to have amibroker in prgram files(x86) system path or else even though the program works, it destroys all your customize settings, layouts etc on the first start after a restart. 3) volume and oi does not match nse website data. I hope that op provides the updated medicated app soon as this it seems requires still some work.
