  1. Thanks for such fast response FT, but indicator does not display anything, I am not getting any error messages, but

it's blank in 32 and 64 bit instances of NT.

Its a realtime indicator as it calculates volume from bid/ask levels .... no way to get that data from history with NT - as it doesn't store it.

  2. I have most of them (Wyckoff Lecture Series). Which one has the information that I'm seeking?

Edit: Ok. I found it, but it's very brief. Would you happen to know if SMI's current materials that they are selling for $1,200 has better quality charts and text? The materials that I have are copies from microfiche from the US Library of Congress that's dated almost 100 years old.

After listening to the recording and looking at the old chart, there is no explanation of the procedure.

What I have is old also, but 1950's - I think the only relevant ones maybe....

    Stepping_Stone_Counts

    Searching For Counts

    Market Principles-The Count Guide

They are from SMI and are brief audio with a very old chart to read.....if you want them let me know...

  3. I have a collection of P&F books and Hank Pruden's is the only one that comes close to explaining stepping stones. He gives highlighted examples that don't explain the procedure. All other P&F books explain an entirely different method of using P&F charts using chart patterns only with no counting methods. There's a difference between using chart patterns and using the count method to determine the price target and its intermediate stepping stones. Whatever these other books do with horizontal and vertical counts, there not doing the Wyckoff Phase Counts that determine the stepping stones. Pruden's examples are hard to formulate a repeatable procedure.

    thanks......

  4. Ok, so I have completed downloading the files. But does anyone here has a content list that describe the proper sequence of viewing the materials? There are like 141 files/folders altogether. I can figure out the 5 main folders and their sequences, but its the files within them that have me confused ... can't figure out which to open up in the correct order. LOL.

Btw, I have manage to sort out the sequence for the first 2 main folders as follows:

    "Market Framework" folder:

1 - The Real Nature of Market Behavior

2 - Chart Types to Depict Market Behavior

3 - Gauging the State of the Market

4 - The 10 Laws of Market Dynamics

5 - Understanding Volatility and How to Measure It

6 - Reading the Market Using Key Reference Areas

7 - Multiple Time-frame Analysis on the Vertical Dimension

8 - Multiple Time-frame Analysis on the Horizontal Dimension

9 - Building Your Contextual Market Reading Abilities

10 - The Real Nature of Intraday Market Behavior

11 - Looking Under the Hood with Market Internals

12 - Interpreting Market Internals in Context

13 - Reading Intraday Market Action in Context

    "Your Trading Framework" folder:

    1 - Understanding Trading Edge

    2 - Edge in Action - Expectancy & Frequency

3 - The Importance & Dynamics of Position Sizing

4 - Position Sizing in Action - The % Risk Model

5 - Understanding Drawdowns & Risk of Ruin

6 - Drawdowns & Risk of Ruin in Action

7 - Understanding the Hidden Psychology of Losses

8 - Overcoming the Hidden Psychology of Losses

9 - Systemizing Risk Management Through R Multiples

If anyone knows the sort sequence for the remaining folders, please help. Thanks in advance.

  5. There are more than one way to trade; some people use price base indicators, some use price/action/order flow etc. If one particular method doesn't suit my style, I don't go to those post and reducible folks. Being rude to TraderBeauty and calling me a fool, IMO, you are just being a juvenile.

Trader34, if you don't have anything of value to contribute to a thread, you don't have to insult other folks. There are quite a few traders, including myself, are finding this thread by TB useful - there is no need for your rude comments.

For those who are following TB's strategy, I am posting part of my daily journal. Please feel free to share how everyone else is using TB's strategy and if there is a way to get better results.

Hi Gladiator - thanks and nice charts - 2 Qns if I may...

    1. I see you plot intraday VP - how are you using it to help you and which tool plots that - ACME ?

    2. Which tool are you using for your Supply and Demand lines - any nice settings to recommend ?

  6. Trader34,

Easy now, this is a friendly forum where we learn from our collective sharing, no need to take it personal. Jane is doing something we don't see very often around here... unselfishly posting an useful trading approach to the market. In that note, no problem on my end reading and trading from the 2:1 renko spectrum chart. Here's today ES trade using her approach, well sort of.

Swordfi$h - Nice pic - are you finding some merit with APEX ?

  7. If one goes through the OFA videos and then uses DBInsideView on reversal bars, one can pretty much replicate OFA charts for themselves, there is actually no need for the whole OFA thing at all as I am finding out today after experimenting with it.

Thanks - Keep us all posted with your findings and set-ups please...;)
