This is the tick sender I use, standalone exe that sends ticks to any mt4 platform you have open. Not sure what the other one is, I didn't check it out, but this one has been around a long time and works perfectly for me for years now.

On another note: I have finally figured out how this ea closes for target. It's based on used margin, not free margin (maybe I misread that earlier in the thread). So if I am using $400 margin right now, and have my target set at .2, it will close out all trades at $80 profit. That was confusing me :)

I modified this ea that I have used for years now to keep track of open DD. It is meant to close all trades when inputted DD is reached, however I modified it so it just alerts and doesnt close trades. So you can use it for what you want. Myself, I always have it on any ea or method I am testing because I want to know what max open DD is always, whether I am there to see it or not :)

Iam getting lots of PM's asking me to share the other EA's i have for other pairs. Let me make it quite clear here..Dont ask me for these as its quite clear many cant even work out MT4 correctly or follow simple instructions as posted to make what they have work let alone another 3.
 
To summarize here..
 
Get the latest version from post 1.
Follow the instructions from post 1 to the letter.
 
Post 171 explains how the TP is worked out.
 
Deltas of 300 will produce more trades but will go into more DD and stay open longer in this DD.
Deltas of 350 will produce less trades and DD wont be as big as deltas 300 and wont be open longer either.
Deltas 400 will produce even less trades again but DD wont be very big but you could miss out on some good profits.
 
Make sure you test it on demo 1st before live.
 
Look at your journal for errors as it will let you know if anything is wrong.
 
Pro has offered solution for hard stop to run with other EA's on same account.
 
Read over all posts up to this point.
 
If you cant do this then i really dont know what to say. It works by just following these steps. Anything else is your platform..your computer..your broker. Try a different demo broker will let you know if your platform is causing the grief. Also maybe delete all data history for the pairs then reopen the platform and open the trading pairs one by one on 1hr chart to reload the data back. this can fix data errors.
 
It will not trade every day so be patient. It might sit dormant for 3-4 days waiting or it could consistently take trades daily.
 
After you get it working then by all means keep others posted with your success as this will help build confidence in running this EA. Dont just sit there and make profits but let nobody know..This is secret squirrel stuff.
 
There has been over 200 downloads of this EA and only a handful of people helping out here or posting success and this is what i have previously mentioned before that ticks me off. And this is the Main reason i will not post other EA's like this as i seem to be feeding the greedy for there own purpose to just take and not offer back weather it be small changes or platform issues.
 
Maybe these people have nothing to contribute but i see it differently..Just a quick hey it closed out profit today with delta XXX is good enough for everybody.
 
If the brokers dont attack this EA and we get plenty of help in here then i might release the others in due time.But until then if you follow these instructions then it will work out.
 
If you are going to post chart also try and include the journal bit as well so we can see if there are any errors..But before then try a different platform 1st..This will really tell you whats going on.

sorry no it doesn't. You can run a trade manager like swiss army knife if you want but be very careful you don't give it enough room to breath. The thing is to risk small lot sizes so your heart level wont rise. Like most EA's you will get killed by over capitalizing.
 
I use to run 5K account with delta 300 and 1.0 lot size 200-1 and i got nervous atleast 1-2 days a week. I would see DD go to $2500-$3000 then snap back. Since then i now use it safer by making delta 350 and using lot size of 0.2 per 5K and seeing no more than $500-600 DD which represents 10%. Now you might say that too high for you so all i suggest is either reduce lot size to 0.1 per 5K or increase delta to 400 and get a few good trades over lower delta's.
 
 
Just remember it wont always go 500-600 DD its just all i have seen in its bad times. I have been running it now for over 3 months with great success and i can honestly say its very solid and i trust it over any other EA i have been given.
 
I do use one for CAD crosses and JPY crosses that works things out differently but i dont run them on same account.
 
iwjw has said he has taken 550 pips..even with 0.1 lot sizes on 5K thats over 10% return in short time. And if he is using lower account size then even better.
 
For those struggling to find the answers in all this i suggest this:
 
Run 3 versions..all same deltas of 300
Change TP levels to one either side of default on these 3 charts and note the differences after profits have been made.
 
Once you have done this then change deltas to 350 and do same test.
 
Once you do this you will know which way you want to trade it that suits your stress levels and account size. It should only take you 2 weeks tops to know what to do, and thats nothing in the scope of it all

Its not a commercial Ea so that helps..I have been around this forum now for over 2 years..In that time i have seem many..i mean many EA's and manual Systems posted whipping up everybody into a frenzy of excitement to only be a short term thing..This is trading..You have to adapt to market conditions to succeed long term..Is this EA a long term thing..Iam sure you will find that out..all you can do is put these things out there and if u like it use it..if not throw it away..

Yes its Very good but greed will kill most with too big lot size. If you really want i can package it up and sell it if that makes you feel better. You know how many of the commercial EA's out there have been packaged up and sold from people in this forum and other forums..Most Ea's out there are a function of someone else's work through a public forum and kept to themselves..Is really is anybody's motive to help anybody..or is it just to make people think they are helping but in reality nothing good gets given back..This is my contribution for all the good i have received.

To stop someone selling it..simple..and also i got annoyed when i asked for help by 2 programmers in projects that work very well but got turned away..If i was a Gold Member then u seem to have validity and you must know what u are doing..lol Color means nothing so this is a slap in the face to these guys to show them iam not a newbie in this market..8 years experience u get to learn a few things..And no these aren't the projects i wanted help with..its just something i put out there for EVERYBODY to enjoy..not just the programmers out there..
 
So if you like these then use them..modify them..keep them to yourself if thats what u want to do..i just put it out there.
 
There are 5 versions of this one i have posted..others are for different crosses qith different functions as if u put this on anything other than USDJPY then do so at your peril..Will the others get shared also..It depends will have to waite and see
 
Please Enjoy and do your test and share in here with others and i might post all 5..but keep to yourself and thats all u get..

well its a new strat which he is using. he will place a pending sell or buy with x lot with 30 sl and no tp. the next order is 45 pips away with 15 pip sl and lot is x-1. all other orders are also 15 pip away from each other with same lot. so when market moves 45 pip in his favor and second one opens he changes sl of first one to 30 pips. now if third is opened sl on first two will be the entry point for second and so on and so forth. most of the time you will end making abt 10%, few time breakeven and some time even loss of 30 pips. but with this system if you get lucky and get a straight 100 pip movement without any retrace ( which I have not yet seen) you can double your account in that.
 
so how to calcualte lots. your first lot x 30 pips should not be more than 5-6% of your account. rest is simple.
