I feel your pain. I pay my broker for data to trade with, but use Rithmic on other machines to test ideas or NT8 software.

Has anyone gotten the Robots to work ? Do they need to be cracked ?

I have tried several of the bots and they display the indicators and historical trades as expected. The issue is that they do not take any realtime SIM trades even after enabling the profit and stoploss targets. Anyone else having this issue ?

ninja_on_da_roof, Thank you for your contributions. I understand what you're saying, I guess I was watching some youtube videos in which He mentions ATMs that are provided when you subscribe as part of NDT, not to be confused with their AI Trader ATMs.

 

Has anyone seen or has the NDT strategy templates they use ?

Actually, I had same issue, so I copied it to:

NT>bin>custom>Indicators

May work on NT8 from JSnow or MagicThing, havent tried it.

 

I ran EternalFractal on NinjaTrader.80222 edu and was able to run it successfully in playback mode. Had my friend run it on JonSnow NT8 and also worked. Wish I could be of more help.

Have you tried 5-Day trial with JS NT8, Friend says been using it since 2020.

Folks, I know this is an NT7 forum, and Zbear was kind enough to provide a solution for NT7. I spent time searching for NT8 HLC bars to no avail, and to my surprise, when I clicked on "Chartstyles" at the top of a chart and selected "OHLC", it instantly opened a sub-menu with 3 choices "OHLC/HLC/HiLo". Who knew !

I believe that Gomi pack works with MagicThing in NT8. Check it out. Again, I'm still on NT8 v19.

Seems to work in NT8 with MagicThing.

 

Sorry, should have mentioned that it works with NT8 v19. I had problems with MagicThing and NT8 v20, never loaded v21.

Btw, if you did upgrade to NTv21 like I did, then uninstalled it to fall back to v19, I found that several of the indicators that worked before with MagicThing, did not work. So I suggest that after re-installing v19, load Magicthing first, and then re-load each indicator so that it can override any v21 changes still there. I tried just using the Ninjascript editor to recompile the DLL's, but that did not help.

Elliot wave (W5T) is working for me, I've only seen "trial expired" message once, but just restarted NT8 and worked fine all day. My NT8 has been acting a little strange lately, so it may not be a W5T problem.

 

I loaded Quantum and ran several indicators, they all seemed to work. Since Quantum doesn't offer trials of their indicators, I assume they work with MagicThing.

Msg #27, which still works and provides a direct download to a version that works with MagicThing. The latest version will not work, but try it and maybe I missed something.

moneyshare, there's nothing to share. If you read my post #83 and kostas9419's post, you have everything you're asking for. If you have NT8 Demo, its already built in.

The only thing you need to load is Electron's fabulous add-on.
