m0rmacus reacted to CashManic in Acme Analytics Bonanza
I have noticed a major interest in Acme Market Analytics in the forum and some requesting the various packages and associated templates. So as Darktrader Brad once told me "there's Gold in them Archive hills", I set myself on those DVDs again and managed to find these, and I arranged them for you. A zip file containing these 12 Acme Market Analytics packages
Acme Market Study Pack 4.0.3 (AnyNT).zip
Acme Market Study Pack 4.0.3 Pro-patched.zip
Acme TPO Pack Pro 4.1.0.1-pro patched.zip
Acme VolumeBreakdown 4.1.0.0 Pro (AnyNT).zip
Acme Volume Profile Pack 4.1.6 Pro (AnyNT).zip
Acme Market Study Pack 4.0.3 Pro (AnyNT).zip
Acme Trade Planning Pack 4.1.2.1 Deluxe patched.zip
Acme Volume Extras Pack 4.0.7 Deluxe (AnyNT).zip
Acme VWAP Pack 4.0.1 Free.zip
Acme Market Internals 4.0.6 Deluxe patched.zip
Acme Time And Sales Pack 4.1.6.1 Pro patched.zip
Acme Trend Analysis Pack 4.0.8 Free.zip
Acme Volume Impression Pack 4.1.1 (AnyNT).zip
I believe they were are all fixed/educated by one of our educators in the past, perhaps Zeraw, JMD or futuretrader, sadly no more with II forum but bless them all.Also I have included the relevant and associated templates for all the packages.I have tried to import all of them and they work.
Regarding the templates just unzip them and place them in
Ninjatrader7/templates/chart directory.

m0rmacus reacted to CashManic in Ninza bonanza
Compliments of Larry Pi, (The Ninza.) 15 assorted Ninjatrader indicators for your perusal.
For your convenience, I have zipped his 15 indicators into a zip file called NinzaBonanza.zip.Please do not import NinzaBonaza.zip as it is not an import-ready NT7ready zip file. Instead,unzip all those zip files it contains (which are NT7 ready)and you can import them separately, directly into NT7.
Larry is quite the ninja coder with clean, professional and maintainable code. in Ninjascript, C++ and C# programming.
For further information and instructions on all these indicators,point your browser to http://ninza.co/product-category/indicator/free and click on the name of the indicator you want info on.
Here's a list of his 15 indicators,
Ninza Bar Gap
Ninza Bid-Ask Display
Ninza Bollinger%B
Ninza Full Vertical
Ninza Horizontal Line Label
Ninza Karthic Dynamic RSI
Ninza MA Controller
Ninza Moving Median
Ninza Quick Drawing
Ninza Scientific Trader OBV
Ninza Tick Bound
Ninza Total Alert
Ninza Trendline Slope
Ninza USD Index
Ninza Volume Delta

NinzaBonanza.zip (203.52KB)

Btw, if anyone has hired Larry to code a customised NT7indicator or strategy in the past,please PM me and let me know your impression, as I am interested in having Larry to code a customised strat for me.
Cheers,:)

m0rmacus reacted to rondonelli in The new Iscalper trading system
Here is another idea I am working on. It involves same concept of angled moving avg or band defining prevalent trend but different indicator set. I have not live traded this. I invite other members to braisnstorm it find flaws and refine it further. I have marked today's trades. It needs following indicators.
bwprecisionrenko bars (settings of 8 and 300%)
bwprecision trend (settings of 2 volatility stop)
tmabands (mine not crashed today)
I have not decided on stoploss or profit targets Here is the screenshot

m0rmacus reacted to rondonelli in The new Iscalper trading system
I read this thread and see that there is lot of negativity about this guy and his web site looks gimmicky and lot of forum members are skeptical. But on my end I have traded iscalper now three days in a row on live account and to my surprise it proved just fine. I was attracted to this system because of simplicity, clean look and biggest selling point was small stop loss.
These three days I traded were real contracted days cause of usa holidays so if this works in these days then it should be ok in moving days. I am using it in mini russell futures with bar settings of 9, 1, 15%, stoploss at 14 ticks and profit target is 11 ticks and taking only two trades in a trend, usually first two trades of the day meet my daily profit target of 22 ticks. I know it is too early to call this a trading system you can rely on as your daily driver and longer backtesting is required but it merits a another look.
I am sure this system can be created by simple indicators as suggested by admis and previous poster has already made tmabands which already crashed my ninja twice but jist of the system is to trade with clearly recognizable trend, small profit loss and set profit target.
I also noticed that there is some repainting issue going on but is not worse than jaysignal. This involves bands but not actual trade setup.
My purpose for this post is to further discuss this system and see what other members think. screenshot posted for today

m0rmacus reacted to yamantaka in The box
According to Strategy Analyzer, this setup in Beans has a 95% win rate since November 2013 and it has performed well live too. Scalping for 2 ticks isn't my favorite way to trade, but it can be profitable with such a high win rate that overwhelms the negative RR. Starts trading at Pit open and stops at 12:00 or whenever it hits your daily targets. Be careful with too much size because slippage is a factor as you can see from the second trade on the entry.

m0rmacus reacted to yamantaka in The box
More time spent with the box can be rewarding in terms of finding decent settings in various markets. I find Strategy Analyzer is a most helpful tool for this.
In these TF trades, the target and stop were 16 and 12, respectively.

Here's ZS with a 2 tick target and 4 contracts.

And ZS again with a 9/9 target/stop

m0rmacus reacted to admis in The box
As I promised, link below with the changed source of PPTBoxSL.
Box_signal is exposed to use in a strategy.
a newer version is available here: :)
http://indo-investasi.com/showthread.php/24211-The-box?p=324393&viewfull=1#post324393
I've changed the name of the original indicator to PPTBoxSLsig to omit any confusion in the future.
Very simple example how to use it in a strategy:
....
if (Position.MarketPosition == MarketPosition.Flat)
{
if (PPTBoxSLsig().Box_Signal[0] == 1)
{
EnterLong(DefaultQuantity, "");
}
if (PPTBoxSLsig().Box_Signal[0] == -1)
{
EnterShort(DefaultQuantity, "");
}
}
....
Cheers,

m0rmacus reacted to yamantaka in The box
Now that the resident teacher is no longer pontificating and minitrader's fledgling forum is abandoned, there is a hole here to share knowledge. I'm going to attempt to explain how the box can be used effectively in manual mode even though I use a an automated version, which is not for distribution under any conditions. I will be as forthright as I can and answer questions. Please don't expect me to pack this thread with posts ad nauseum with images that display how good I am while I belittle you for not being successful. Frankly, I think arrogance has no place here and my ego doesn't need to get messaged on a minute by minute basis, like others who's name I won't mention. This thread should be instructive to me and you and perhaps you can share your experiences, if any, on how you improve on my setups.
With respect to the box, there are a few boxlike products I'm aware of in the market. If you do a search, you'll know which one in particular I think has merit. For disclosure purposes, I don't encourage nor advocate using pirated, stolen, or hacked software. Always pay for other's products or use free ones that are open source and in the public domain. ;)
Is anyone interested in trading FDAX?
