I'm interested in this ea, you can try it for 7 days but you need to open a live real account with ducascopy :-(

Does anyone have this ea or got already a ducascopy account so maybe can try it and download this ea?

I don't know but I think maybe it depends on the type of cpu, I tried on 2 different pc and on my vps:

on the 2 pc it crashed, one pc is an old one , the other got amd 3800+ 64bit it has sufficient cpu power but it's an old one too,

whereas on my vps I have no problems ('though cpu is shared it's a new generation of cpu).

maybe some type of arithmetic calculation crash on old cpu, I don't know.....it's just a supposition.....

Hi all, this system looks good but I'm trying it and I got a problem:

my metatrader crash when I use any template lower than 4h (metatrader not responding and cpu 100%), I'm able to use only 4h template on 4h tf.

Does anyone got the same problem ?

I don't understand well this EA but I know that I'm running 8.2 since a couple of weeks with default settings and I had some trades, initially when trades are opened went to negative but then after some time they made profits and I closed manually them. i don't know if I was lucky but now it's just I think 3 or 4 times that this ea opened trades and finally all in profits.

Alpari demo accounts, start date 05.31.2010 - end date 06.15.2010:

Total Trades: 40

Total Pips: 1306.0

Total Profit: €112.05 (0.01 fixed lots for each pair)

Rio, I don't think that Brokers want you to lose money, if so your account would be wiped out and no more profits for brokers, but maybe it's possible that they want that your balance stay always at the same level.... some wins and some loses, some wins and some loses ans so on... who knows that .... sometimes it seems to me that they have this type of control.....but maybe it's only my impression.

sherlock, my opinion was not against your opinion. I agree with you that human traders generate the most revenue in The big institutions.

sherlock, I still hope that your assertion is wrong, by the way makes me wonder the fact that big institutions could invest millions into the development of automatic trading systems and they do not make it.... what's a cruel reality .... :-( so it would be really better that everybody switch off EAs and stop to waste time, nevertheless I still see some accounts on myfxbook with automatic trading systems that seems to make profits even in the long run, what a cruel mistery !!! ( obviously I mean only verified myfxbook accounts ).

settings ? which one ? even no money managment or fixed lot size, as I see advanced version also doesn't have money managment.

I'm using 4-6 gmt breakout since 24 may and it made 15 trades, also for me sometimes it makes pending orders and then it deletes them, but other times it trades without problems. my broker alpari uk.

maybe I'm wrong but actually I don't think there is anyone here that he got it. if someone got it, I think he wouldn't be here, but only trading with this ea and make profits.....

same question, i don't understand if orders should be closed manually when in profit or the ea take care of it, I'm using version 8.2

I see that trading time is 5-8 am

which is the correct setting for alpari uk (gmt+2 now) ?

theoretically it would be hourstart=(5+2)7 hourstop=(8+2)10 on alpari uk, right ???

i see default are hourstart=6 minutestart=10 hourstop=7 minutestop=51, also why those particular minutes setting???

I was able to remove in time this ea from my real account before wiped out on the recent down of the euro.

I put it from real to demo account and it wiped out my demo account............. luckily not the real one......

I made some backtest and the results are very good, also I noticed good risk/reward ratio.

I reoptimized it on backtest with trall parameter swicthed on:

for me it has become a real job, always running backtest, optimization, forward test, continuously reading various forum, always searching for new ea to try, but so far earn money nothing yet....

maybe if I had spent all those hours for a real job I have earned safe money and without risk....

Same thing for me, 4 full stoploss.

When I see this thing I start to think again if it's possible to make profit with ea on forex !!

anyway my shocker is still in profit from first day of start trade (15th of march) but now only 6% of gain.

consistent profit I think it's not possible with this type of ea,

maybe there are others ea around that makes consistent profit but I don't think scalping ea, maybe swing trading ea on higher timeframe like h1, h4 and d1.

What do you think about these ea ?

if you see lucky candles v2 seems that it's performance is better than v3, the drowdown is the same,

and it's cheaper than v3.0, profit candle seems to be the best one but also more expensive.

the drowdown is strange, it seems to be an issue that myfxbook developers should have to fix as they told me (if you see the balance tab you notice a drowdown of about 1500usd, maybe due to bad recalculation of second deposit of 1500usd, I don't know .... ) without this issue the drowdown should be more inferior than 30%, about 5-6 % I think.

 

maybe possible data manipulation although accounts are verified ?
