    I checked the logic:

    The indicator (posted by William) is deviding the actual bar close value by yesterday D1 close value and minus 100 from it. So if the current price is 1.2000 and yesterday close was 1.3000. 1.2000/1.3000 is 92%. 92-100 is -8%. This means that we cross the zero line when price goes above or under yesterday close.

    Find attached mod of first indi. You can put it on other chart to see EURCHF line.

    I made it to draw it in histogram (if you set the indicator window max value to 1, then it wont go up and down, just colors). If you want it to use it to an EA you can compare the values of the indi. If higher than previous buy if lower then sell. I hope you can use it. Please if you come to some conclusion I would be really happy to read it. Anyway I think this indi is simmilar to NonLagMA. Last bar is redrawing.

  11. Trades History Export to CSV

    Altough this is a free script it is very useful to export the history to a CSV file. It is much easier to use Excel to check the past trading efficacy. You can check different currencies separately as well. Everything depends on your Excel skills. It can be used as a base on trade logbook which is very important to improve manual trading skills.

    I think all price pattern is price action, but not all price action is a pattern. Price action is generally the feeling of bearish, bullish or sideways. For example testing a resistance or support is a price action, but is not a pattern. It is harder to talk about price action, as it is usually complicated to write it in words and if sy did it finally it became a pattern in the past. I hope this helped.

    here it is:

     

    the old signals from the old version of indi are now darker color, the signals described in previous post are the bright colored. I also attached the modified noextern indicators, as I modifeid them to calculate just with the last 50 bar. They look a bit different if you attach manually, I don't know how significant is the difference, but can be put up to 100 or 150, I just wanted to make it faster as it should calculate more with the new cluster dashboard. I am still thinking whether we should use the distance on ccfp comparing to the widest one for example. I noticed, that this turning signals on shorter timeframes are not very correct (or just dont know how to use them), and they are quite rare, as I write this message there is none of the bright color signals. Maybe an alert can be put in. and so on... I have lots of ideas, maybe not all is good. Keep on communicating :).

    And it is interesting, that the mistake was that it gave the sell for the euro pairs on daily, when ccfp was stronger for one pair, and turning was against the stronger currency (EUR). Probably in a very trending market these trades wouldnt have been successful. Most likely in sonsolidation both turining can be used.

    What I have been playing with couple of days ago: I modified the dashboard, to indicate with different color when a stronger pair on ccfp is turning back from a weak point (stronger pair turning up, or the weaker pair turning down) on cc. When I checked (13/07 at around 20:30) it There were 3 signs on daily, and one on m15. I just marked the prices on the charts when I saw the signals, as I was just interested what will happen some time later. Actually quite good results came out. I am still woking on the dashboard, but I think I will come back with a ready version when I came back.

    I checked some sample indicator in java, but the actual symbol is not referenced. Can you imagine that you can't call info from other pair? Does Dukascopy has all the pairs needed for cluster? Have you checked?

    Congratulation on the trade. I would have been hesitating about that trade at that time, Anyway it is interesting, the same picture could have been seen on GBPUSD, nearly same trendline brake, but the CC shows different picture. GBP gained around 120 pips afterwards against USD.

    I will not be here until beginning of august, I hope I can see some nice live trades on this forum. Take care everybody, until!

    Just to let you know, there is no workaround (even with "soylatte" or what :) ) to start dukascopy on a 32 bit intel Macintosh (core duo processor).

    Yes, Java runs on every machine, if Java itself can be run on that machine, very sad.

    You can imagine how shocked I was @-) , when I noticed this. I will update my osx tonight, maybe java will work after that. But this 64 bit problem seemed serious. Maybe newer update will be available for the newer osx. Fingers crossed.

    yes I actually started it, and was happy in the beginning until I started to run the jforex application, then I had to face with the problem, that my macbook pro has core duo processor, not core 2 duo, so java is not upgradable to 1.6 version (what jforex wants) as my core duo proc is only 32 bit, and java was developed for 64 bit only after 1.5 version on osx. Sooo I was really mad about this. I have a windows machine, but it is a netbook, so not really good for this purpose. But I will go on and try to do sg. I will go on holiday until 2. aug, so i will work on these things deeply just after I came back. But please count on me, I will solve every barrier until that time.

    Do you have sample indicators codes for Jforex? And where can we have the knowledge base for coding. I am not against anything good. We can try to code.

     

     

    Actually I am thinking on to open a spread betting (I dont know what is the difference, less currency pairs, but it seems the same) account in FXCM UK, as it is TAX FREE for UK residents (I dont even understand why). Own platform but seems very fast, one click execution, though the charting part I don't liked, I used an MT4 this afternoon for a bit of scalping, and executed on FXCM trading station. I know it is off-topic, as there is now strategy, expert... possibility in their paltform.

     

    Why aren't you thinking on NinjaTrader? I heard very good opinions about this for example:
