Thanks for your work on this Candyman. Which "LT.00x" files are found in the installation folder? Maybe some are missing. From what I have read, the WECS indi needs these files. I have all 21 of them if you need them (LT.000 to LT.020)

OK thanks Candyman. I just mentioned that cause in the pdf Users Manual for the WECS indicator, it had said this:
 
 
"Trouble Shooting Guide for Displaying the WECS Indicator
--------------------------------------------------------
 
If you are unable to display the WECS indicator within the Refined Elliott Trader
software, check the following:
 
Do you have the latest version of RET installed?
To display the WECS indicator, you will need to be running RET version 1.5.x or
greater.
To upgrade, fire up RET, and select: Tools | Check for Software Upgrades. Then
follow the instructions.
 
Do you have a 2007 PowerPack installed?
WECS uses the additional information found within the 2007 series of market specific
PowerPacks for RET. It does not work with the default database that comes standard
with RET. This is because the new PowerPacks contains the additional information
that WECS needs to display the indicators.
You can check to see what PowerPacks you have installed/licensed by viewing the
Help | About window within RET.
Notice the PowerPack licenses in the section on the right."

Does anyone please know how to activate (or obtain) the module for this "WECS" indicator ("Wave End Confirmation Signals") for RET ? Browsing through the manual, this indicator sounds quite useful.

it seems that you haven`t tested the RET software.
It can be used with EoD (MetaStock) and Intraday (ASCII) data. Unfortunately, i can`t proof it because the last version (1.12.5) which i have used is no longer useable.

Hello all, I’ve had several request asking how I generate my ‘Kravens Repetitive Areas of Potential Profit’ or K.R.A.P.P for short :))and as I’m a fan of the indo share culture I though I’d create this thread to demonstrate….
 
These lines are pretty accurate, I believe accurate enough to purely trade from. They will work on every pair and require updating once per day. However they not the ‘holy G’ and not magical (as some think lol). They are also very easy to create, in-fact they’ll be too easy for many on here who will insist on adding thing.
 
How to create ‘K.R.A.P.P.' wwwowhhhhhhhhaaahh!!
 
Ok, choose your pair……go to a daily time frame……….draw lines at each day on the high and low (and importantly) the open and close….. most people only take note of peaks (highs) and troughs (lows) but open and closes (O/C) are VERY IMPORTANT. Most just take note of the day before, however O/C of daily’s several weeks ago can still have an impact.
 
Once you have drawn your lines it’s time to sort them out. If a level has only been touched once I call this minor, if it has been influential on a few occasion I call it major. I advise you to colour these lines different colours (see pic)

after you've sorted your lines use them on lower timeframes (5 and 15min are good)

Here is an example of how to trade K.R.A.P.P...i call it the 'bounce'. just enter the trade the 'oppersite' direction to where the price approached i.e. if the price is coming down, buy when it hits....SL 10 TP 15 (or more)......here an example i made a few days back

that's it..........try to refrain from adding 1hr and 4hr lines as you'll have a mass of lines that are untradable...........hope you enjoy

You can try this to pull data, but sorry I cannot support any questions. After hours of trying years back I got the data from IB to work. The only problem is the WS9 is not good and will not help ur trading.

heheh, thanks Shenong. Ohh I did search Google the mighty beast quite a bit and came up with nothing! So eventually I just asked IB support about it and they gave me the answer! The syntax for a forex symbol was a little tricky and not obvious. For EURUSD, it would be this:
 
EUR_CASH_IDEALPRO_USD
 
For USDJPY, this:
 
USD_CASH_IDEALPRO_JPY
 
 
It now reads in ticks from IB fine, but only problem -History59 doesn't seem to be able to retrieve "1-day history" or "multiple day history" for these forex symbols.

he let me test it out for him. basically re-applied tonys patch to the newer version.
i deleted it. i have no use for this software.
plus he knows i wouldnt share unless he gave me permission. it would be disrespectful to him. he knows he can trust me

Hi guys, I managed to locate the downloadable eBook file using the "Wayback Machine" internet archives

Here is where I stopped and I am a little hesitant to proceed. I'm concerned that if I complete this little "form", that my IP address will be revealed to Wave59 (and I don't want this).
