@RichardGere you got it to work,im currently using parallels desktop on mac maybe thats why but the normal NT8 works

Ah I see. You can't get it working because you are running a Mac. I installed in Windows 11 and it worked perfectly. Of course 8.0.27.1 may have some issues with new indicators that will require latest version of Ninjatrader. Better to go for the newer Ninjatrader if you can find them.

NT 8.28.0 version

STEP 0 : Stop Ninja Trader & Remove any ProfitwalaNTUnlocker dll that you may have from Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom
STEP 1 : Install NT 8.28.0 version if you are not alreay on that
STEP 2 : Finish installation process
STEP 4 : Copy your ProfitwalaNTUnlockerV2.dll and  NTLic.licfile into Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom

Start NinjaTrader now and follow through instructions.

Important things:

1. For AMP please use any key that starts with @AMP
2. Your ninjatrader is unlocked for almost all features and has a credit of 4500 for TT as well.
3. Ninjatrader is enabled for multi broker as well as order flow+ capabilties.
4. tradovate is also enabled for your NT version

Thank you very much. Will install this later and test out. I only use NT8 for analysis so will probably could not check out the its other functions. With this upload, I believe I do not need to upload version 8.0.27.1. 🙂😃

8.0.28 is available via this link. It works completely fine for connecting to a live broker, can handle at least 1 Rithmic connection, and multiple Tradovate, CQG and most other available NT connections. It has full orderflow capability enabled. It's not the latest version, but is MultiPC, meaning you don't need a license, and it's not tied to any one hardware ID. Few people need the newer/newest copies of NT, unless a specific indicator uses some of the modified scripting they've introduced.

Looks like there are 2 versions of 8.0.28. One that is profitwala and the other is unknown educator.

I installed both in the same computer just to test them if both are running (I installed and uninstalled one after the other)

I don't trade with NT8. I only use it for analysis.

Here are the few differences I noted.

The profitwala version runs much faster. The unknown version took much longer to load charts or bring up the menus.

I could immediately feel the difference in speed.

I timed the loading of the FLD indicator. Profitwala version took 8 seconds to load. The unknown educator version took 35 seconds.

I don't know the reason for this. Whether if it is the difference in reversing or because my Bitdefender doesn't agree with the unknown educator version.

 

The Profitwala version does not have Tradovate connection but the unknown version has it.

Both have 5001 TT credits.

 

Hope these comparisons are useful for somebody.

This is super interesting, and consequential - thanks for taking the time to check this out. I might see if I can get similar results. A big downside though, is that the profitwala version can't connect to Tradovate.

@osijek1289 version 27 does connect to Tradovate I just tweaked the files since version 27 wasn't working on parallels desktop on my end but other users got it to work hopefully @RichardGere can upload it to this thread but the files are on a different thread but in the same forum in the download link
