Investors be aware: Copy Trading Investment Scam

I am a beginner level trader using NinjaTrader mostly. I am trying to learn about any good trading strategy to be profitable. I am also a fan of fancy indicators with no luck yet. I am trying to have very minimum set of indicators on my chart as too many indicators do not help with trading. I have tried some auto bots with no success. As eyes are better than any indicator, my goal is to have a simple trade setup (strategy) with minimum set of indicators and good results.

This is what I told MonicaPropTraderz (Discord Profile shown above) when she asked about my goals at the time of joining the Discord group of MonicaPropTraderz. As the conversation progressed, MonicaPropTraderz told me this: Alright, you know there are lots of profits in the market if you get to understand it very well and deal with the right prospects... I'll recommend you adopt my corporate broker where I personally assist members grow and learn from the market as well, I got affiliated to a broker where I allow members automatically mirror my trades and grow from the exact same picks and make, and most importantly get to join the live trading session, to understand more on how the account grows and improve personal knowledge as well, its more like an interactive class where you'll have your account automatically copy my trades while you ask questions and learn from the trades as well, I really think practical learning is one of the best ways to grow from the market and if by any chance you miss the live trading sessions, you'll be able to get some analysis on how the trades was done for the day to better understand the trades done on your account, I'll be open to introduce you to this service if you're open to learn and grow with this option, it's quite a better way to grow good profit and learn from the market as well, currently I handle about 50+ members on this who earn average $3k-$15k weekly (depending on your account size) from copying my trades, I think this is part of what you need to grow in the market with, and if you're open to it, I'll introduce you more, pass you the broker to have a look and most possibly create an account to get started. I thought “Wow, this is a great opportunity coming from a well-known person among trading community” and really excited to become part of her investment group. I was really impressed by all the things MonicaPropTraderz published in her Discord channel, in her website https://www.proptraderz.com/, and NinjaTrader eco system. Long story short, I started my copy trading investment journey with $6K investment ignoring several red flags because I trusted MonicaPropTraderz. The first red flag is the broker vantagechasers.com had no good reviews. The second red flag is that the deposit/withdrawal could be made only through Cryptocurrency. The third red flag is that vantagechasers.com have no customer support phone numbers, no contact address & no published documentation/help on topics.

I was impressed by the first day return of about 5% to my account with copy trading of options. MonicaPropTraderz  posted a screenshot of what options were traded and how much total profit was made for the day. Then I got this advice from MonicaPropTraderz saying “Of course, the profit made on your account with your deposited capital has been credited. You know the higher your account trading capital, the higher your profit returns. I'll advise you to get your account to $10k to $15k trading deposit.” As per the advice, I had increased my deposit amount $15K in few days expecting higher returns (Greed). Still, I did not ask about withdrawing the profits, a big MISTAKE.

Next day, I got this message from MonicaPropTraderz:

I'm glad to have you as a member of my trading family. I'd recommend you to get your account to the Double PDT level for your VantageChasers account to join in my double trading sessions. Getting your VantageChasers account to a standard double PDT (Pattern Day Trader) level, will allow your account to engage into my double trading session, allow both your ROI and invested capital combined to join trades and also to engage into more products in the market and compound better profit returns. Also, to have your account get to joining the live trading session on the broker, you’ll need to get your account up the double PDT level which is the range of $50k and above account capital, that will enable your account automatically enroll into the live trading session and also with additional security software which will be available on your account to improve your account earnings, have your account on a more stable condition for trading and prevent your account against any form of losses and I’ll recommend you to have your account on that position to grow from there, it’s always important to participate on the practical aspect of trading, and I’ll really encourage you to get your account on such position ahead of next week's trades, or as soon as possible because the stock market is currently profitable. Your account can actually get to $25k just by joining in my trades but you'll have to consider learning how these trades are being executed by joining my live trading sessions which requires your account deposit to be at least $25k with a good amount of profits as well. That's the standard PDT level, also you can set up a weekly withdrawal of $5K at this level as your account will be on a more standard level to engage in double trading sessions and multiple products. I hope you understand me well enough.

I thought by becoming a 2xPDT level trader, I could be set for life, and retire real soon from my job. So, I applied for loans from my 401K account, and deposited the loan amount to my vantagechasers.com account as Crypto. Because Crypto.com blocked by Crypto withdrawals, it took another week for my Crypto deposits to reach vantagechasers.com account. By this time, MonicaPropTraderz told me $60K would be needed for 2xPDT level because lot of people entered it already and there's limited slot for it . Finally, my vantagechasers.com account deposit reached $60K+ (after more loans) to become a 2xPDT level trader. Also, my total account balance reached about $173K in 5 weeks’ time with 275% return on investment. Now, came the twist with a lure to become a VIP level trader by depositing another $40K, and this would let me withdraw $10K. I thought I could reach the VIP level by withdrawing $30K from my account profits and contributing the rest. So, I checked with MonicaPropTraderz about withdrawing $30K from profits as any withdrawal need to be approved by her, but she said I can’t even do the weekly $5K withdrawals as promised earlier because I expressed an interest in VIP level, I was removed from 2xPDT level and put in a slot to become a VIP level trader.

My eyes were opened by this sudden twist, and I had asked my vantagechasers.com account to be closed so that I could withdraw at least the deposited amount first. But, MonicaPropTraderz & vantagechasers.com had other plans to extract more money from me with the fake profits they show in my account. They said that I would have to make a 10% commission Crypto payment to my Expert Trader (MonicaPropTraderz) before I could withdraw any money from my vantagechasers.com account. I don’t want to lose another $10K+ in addition to what was lost earlier as deposit. Now, I understood the real reason for this hyped up returns. The scamsters wanted to collect more money as commission payment when someone tried to close the account. I have read about this standard Nigerian scam of paying a handling fee to withdraw a large sum of money.  So, I was prepared and didn't want to lose another penny.

And, I have started my complaints with all USA federal authorities (check here: https://www.finra.org/investors/insights/recovering-from-investment-fraud) to report this scam, and possibly recover my deposit money. It could take months or years to recover my money, or I may not get any money back, and most importantly I would have to postpone my retirement by another year at least!

I narrated this for the benefit of other novice part-time investors like myself so that they do not fall prey and waste their hard-earned money with any type of investment scam. MonicaPropTraderz told she handles about 50+ members in her investment group. It could be a lie to get me to invest in this copy trading BS. Finally, I just want to say not to trust your hard-earned money with anyone as there are many different kinds of investment scams. These scamsters could be well known, e.g.  MonicaPropTraderz, or one of your friends or relatives or people around you. Do not trust their word blindly as I did as they try to exploit our inexperience, greed, laziness, etc. Do your own research, and form your own investment strategy. Make sure you have full control of your investments, and should be able to deposit/withdraw money at your own will.

Now, I know people like MonicaPropTraderz may not be acting alone as they could have a big team of people and be part of a large network influencing or scamming people around the world. They might start with new identities, or websites, or brokers if they are found out. All their communication is well scripted because they know how to say the right words to lure people to influence them into making deposits and scam out their money.

I know this site have some real experienced investors/traders as members. I welcome any comments/suggestions.

That person is NOT me. My username is monicap (with a single "i"), not "moniicap" as shown in the screenshot.

It seems you've unfortunately been approached or scammed by someone impersonating me or using a similar name to create confusion. I do not run any auto-copy systems, paid classes, or broker affiliations like the ones described in your post. I also never ask people to send money or create linked trading accounts.

If you were misled into joining a fake Discord or platform under the impression that it was associated with me, please report that account immediately to the platform and notify any admins. I'm deeply sorry this happened to you, and I hope you can recover any losses or take proper action.

I have found the Discord channel invite from one of NinjaTrader threads here about 2 months back. So, the fake person who posted that message is already an indo-investasi member. But how is it possible to join the real MonicaPropTraderz Discord channel with a fake invite? Also, how does Discord allow the fake person to use the same "MonicaPropTraderz" user name? This is so confusing, and not easy to understand!

The post doesn't contain any false information as I have posted the screenshot of the fake MonicaPropTraderz  with moniicap Discord ID. This would definitely help novice investors & possibly others to double check the user IDs before committing to any investments or advise and not get scammed with this copy trading scam.
