spectre is very useful, signals r strong but this file shows license error even on edu nt8 so the signals r delayed, indicator does not plot realtime signals, signals appear after we refresh the chart everytime

don't give up...whether it's a error license or not, all of addon Ninja's indicators are lagging and useless... You can even prove the opposite, but only by providing objective data, not subjective opinions

My main question is what the 55 breakout pattern/strategy means exactly. I thought it was a breakout of the 55 EMA but the signals do not correspond with that. I know some prop firms ask you to explain your strategy so I really would like to be able to answer. 

Also curious If everyone is sticking to the 25TP, 100SL ATM settings or if you found a more optimal one.

That is such an out of whack risk and reward ratio.😱

To risk a full 100 ticks, just to take in 25 ticks profit, is very painful.😢

Imagine starting out your day and right away, out of the gate, you hit 2 or 3 losers in a row. That must hurt you greatly and certainly, put a huge and deep dent to your account.

Boyyyy, you are speaking nothing but the truth.

I backtested 3 months and found that the signals are quite good, but the problem is the losses are tough to overcome. For 1 loss, you need 4 winners to break even. They do have settings where you can set max SL and TP targets. It's also possible to activate a setting where additional contracts are automatically added to the next trade after a loss. But that that could put you even deeper in the hole. 

Today (SIM) started with a loss. So - $500, then 5 winners back to back leading to a profit of $100. Next one was a loser so you are $430 back in red, despite having way more winners than losers. Tough....

I am super curious about other ATM settings people may be using. But mostly I would like to understand the strategy and thought behind it.

It's based on the breakout of the Donchain channel. You can configure the breakout sequence (default 55 channel) and how many ticks above or below. 

It's configuration is dependent on what instrument you are trading and your own risk tolerance. The creator was using 55 seq, 5 ticks each way on 89 range GC running overnight. 100/25 RR - that doesn't mean its going to work for everyone, all the time. Your best bet is to join the discord and see how people are using it and testing it. My ATM for ES is 38/10 on 5 min Pro Edge Bars 55 5/5 martingale max 3. Seems to be a good fit for me right now

Nothing is obviously. HFT has a number of profitable bots and this one has some potential. I personally know people passing combines with it. It’s a tool and can provide edge in the right hands.

Thank you so much for responding. The link the  creator posted for the Discord no longer works. Can you send me the link? You can PM me if you want. What are Pro Edge Bars, where can one get them? Do you personally limit the bot to trading a particular timeframe? I activate it 30 minutes after opening NY until end of NY session. I aim for 500 profit a day, with max loss of 1000. 

I also would love to know what people have been using on NQ, as that is what I trade. I tried cutting the SL to 50 ticks yesterday but results were not good. Although it did limit the size of the losses it also severely cut into profits. I believe in this bot but I desperately need optimal ATM settings.
