How to go about commenting to a post in a thread

I was wondering if someone could give an idea as to how can one comment to a individual post as done and shown in the following link.

Not sure myself if this will work without actually trying it. So here it goes.

 

Go to the member's page, copy the address. Highlight your message, press the link button to link to the member's page you just copied.

Hi Iqbal, I kinda tried what you are saying but my post went to my visitor messages page :).

Sure no problem.

 

(1) Suppose I want to link this text to your member's page.

 

(2) I go to your member's page by clicking the insaneike logo on the left. Then I copy the text on the address bar which is https://indo-investasi.com/member/69405-insaneike.

 

(3) Highlight the text that you want linked to isaneike page. In this case I highlighted "this text" as in no. 1 above.

 

(4) Then click Link button the one that looks like a chain. See the attached screen capture. A window will open. Then paste the address https://indo-investasi.com/member/69405-insaneike (that I already copied in step 2) in the URL field.

 

(5) That's it. I think you can link anything not only member's page.

I had the same question when techyamit once posted a comment to a post (https://indo-investasi.com/forum/forex-forum/trading-platform/785044-get-dvanced-get-soft-pdf-python?p=785293#post785293) and I asked him how he did it. He sent me this pic:

I am still unable to see the "Comment" button maybe due to my browser settings. Can moderator help in this matter?

Thanks @birdshoof for the screenshot. I too don't see the comment link under the post. I use firefox and I've not cleared my cache/history since ages. I'll try a different browser and see. Thanks once again. Edited November 19, 2021 by insaneike

I don't see the comments from chrome as well. I think this has something to do with the upgrade. New users might be seeing that link whereas older users don't.
