Volume profile in MT4 ? Absurd !!! All datafeed are unreliable except Bloomberg .... if you are able to fit into MT4 well (be quite is impossible) otherwise you waste time

 

Tick volume oscillates between 90% - 98% correlation with real volumes, that is more than enough. Anything above 75% is considered high correlation. It really makes me laugh the comments ditching tick volume, it just shows how noob some are in trading...

 

 

Those volume profile indicators here for MT4 are practically the same thing as Dale´s:

Here some screenshots I had put together for a friend who was skeptical about tick volume, you can see that the weis wave for example looks exactly the same as real volume, even in the wave volume in numerical format you can see the effort vs result easily. Also , I trade futures at the same time with forex and the charts and volume bars looks practically the same in both charts, I can make exactly the same trade decision on both.

There is a paper published by some finance researchers from a few years ago showing the high correlation between tick and real volumes. So yes this has been scientifically and statistically proven. I forgot the title/authors/journal of the paper.

Ninja Trader has volume profile, volume profile drawing tool and VWAP natively, you don´t need extra indicators for it. Sierra Chart too.
