Gary Dayton Signs Of Strength And Weakness

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone

Let me explain something.

Group buys are still not allowed here but...

I chose to ignore it when I see a reputable and a great member doing that, someone that has been with us for awhile and I can trust him not to scam everyone , take the money and run.

So bottom line- sometimes I prefer to "Bend " the rules according to the situation.

To create a new section for group buys I will need the approval of the owner DALE but I am not sure that this is the purpose of this amazing forum.

Take care everyone and thanks again.

Traderbeauty-Jane

p.s- would love to hear your thoughts about the subject.

Logicgate, honest question, can you confirm that you are currently in the 10% SIDE of the winners.

Can you can you confirm that Gary Dayton is on the 10% SIDE of winners?

I dont question the existence of patterns like vsa or others. I just think this kind of patterns or analysis are much easy to spot on historical charts than in real time.

But Gary Dayton have the solution to that...,"i didnt take any of these trades but you could easely bought here, here or here."

When I used to use candles, indicators, chart and candle patterns I blew up 3 accounts. When I ditched all that **** and started using VSA/Wyckoff analysis,

I never blew an account again.

That is obvious, you can never take all the trades available, you are not 24h in front of a screen in all markets. But you can certainly look at a chart and recognize

the setups where you would have taken a trade.

Who said that VSA is pattern trading? VSA/Wyckoff is logical trading.

I said the exact opposite of that. Keep trying to trade chart and candle patterns and you are gonna lose money...

Tradermen, you joined this forum in 2010, so I believe you started trading at least 5 years before me. If you haven't figure it out after almost 10 years, perhaps you should seek another endeavor... :))

I agree with this 100%. Although i am relatively new, after ditching candles for HLC charts, still on demo now but my analysis is better now. and i am gonna say something else that people might scorn at. colours make a difference too. yes. The cognitive bias that you get from colours are meant to work against you. especially red, it makes you excited and gets your blood pumping and makes you wanna enter the trade asap. I now use HLC charts with all the bars in black and a white background. try it, you might take a week or two to adapt, but you would never return to candles after that.

Logicgate why you assume that i trade with candles and indicators? Why you assume i havent figure out what works to me?

For your information doesnt exist the write or wrong method, exist your method and ONLY that counts. If vsa works for you great. The ONLY way it works for Gary Dayton is for selling courses. Prove me that Gary Dayton is a profitable trader and i stfu and admit that Gary Dayton is the real real.

One ast thing.... Being a great chart reader or doing a great analysis is a very diferent thing than be a profitable trader.

There is nothing to Scorn, I read in few psychological forums that colors are having huge impact. This guy is also having the same feelings

But I am using candles with colors and I am happy with it

@durai you hit the nail on the head!

I too have noticed this and also use HLC black bars and blue volume histogram, I find it it keeps me focused on the price action and not patterns or colors of bars .

K.I.S.S method always works :)

Would be a great idea, but maybe have it in a private area of the forum where long standing members can participate!

There is a part of the forum that is called HALL OF FAME.

It was created a long time ago.

Few days ago I edited this group, deleted the non- participant members and started to add the ones here which are active .

In this group I also changed the amount of email storage from 50 to 300.

I might even start a new area other than the Hall of Fame- maybe something new just for active and sharing members where we can be more free there-just a thought.

Please let me know what you think

Jane

Gary Dayton was mentored by one of the best Wyckoff specialists in the world: David Weis.

I wonder if he doesn't know what he is doing... :))

Not to mention he is always hired to speak at presentations hosted by the VSA guys at tradeguider, If you think they would taint their reputation with s***, well, think again...

I would love to talk about your VSA experiência in five years. Will sendo you a message then. Best of luck.

whether a trading trainer share his/her p/l statement or not is not the point of consideration, when looking for his/her courses. he may be the most failed trader in the history of trading. but if his/her course material is good/excellent and help you make money in the market, that's all what you need. there is also a possibility that one may find a trading educator with all p/ls but he may be the most lousy teacher :)

we all traders follow one or the other pillars of trading be it wyckoff, dow, elliott or any other today's author/trader/vendor. how many of these ppl have shared their p/l statements? still as traders we have enough intelligence to judge whether his/her material is of any use or not

so whether gary dayton is making money or not, is not the question. question is whether you are making money or learning to make money in markets from his material ? if yes he is by far your best friend in trading. if you have found his material is not for you move to some other thing plain and simple.

just like any other business, trading education also has good and bad vendors. it is upto us to do proper check.
