former allows substitutions of any price, while the latter works with actual prices.

 

Rule: When any one of the planets, from Mercury over to Neptune (each one individually of

course) changes its logarithm of the True distance from the earth (see Nautical Almanac at the

proper headings for each planet), we are just midway of a movement.

I shall illustrate three cases and supply the prices for them.
