Replace the two patched *.jar inside the lib subfolder

and then register with any suitable serial

(like 5555-5555-5555-5555-5555-5555)

It's NOT working. Maybe we need any "plausible" serialr?

Does anyone else find these charts so tedious and restrictive to work with? I mean, don't you find NinjaTrader way better than this from the standpoint of simple, intuitive charting, changing options, adding / removing indicators? MW also has the usual clunky, slow feel to it that Java-based applications are famous for.

Sorry, not to sound ungrateful...but it's only free if your time has no value. I guess maybe the value is in things which aren't relating to helping one become a better small timeframe intraday futures trader (which is all I really care about). In all honesty, MW could give me a free lifetime license and it still would go unused.

TraderBeauty, what do you think?

Yeah, I was thinking that the popularity is more for the advanced charting methods it has. I was only looking at it from the standpoint of usefulness to scalp 1-5 min intraday futures charts and that requires easy mouse panning of the price chart. I don't use E-waves in my trading. A simple 5 min 20 ema first touch in a trend pullback in the first 2 hours of trading is about as good as it gets for low risk / high reward entries. First few 1 min 20 ema pullbacks are good too. All I personally need for good signals is a lot of movement to get 2x reward for the 1x risk and I'm fine with a 50/50 chance of being right.

Intuitive trading software is hard to describe. You just know it when you see it. For me, MW doesn't have that aspect to it. You kinda know you're in trouble when the default setup is showing you bunches of stocks and indices whereas futures scalpers tend to focus on 1-3 trading instruments.

Comparing the original httpclient.jar and MotiveWave.jar coming from two clean installations of 5.4.13 and 5.4.25 setup file I see that:

- httpclient.jar files are the same

- motivewave.jar files are different

So the cr@ck cannot work "as it is" in 5.4.25

.class files inside original motivewave.jar (5.4.13 and 5.4.25) are different, and since I don't know anything about Java programming, I don't know how they can be adapted

I did not try to look at 6.0 httpclient.jar and motivewave.jar, and I hope some expert can help us
