anyone running NT7 on windows 10....

Thinking about reimaging windows 7 to windows 10.. what is your openion....is it better worse ???

No difference trading ofa. The only difference that I could think of is that win 10 will upload your personal info to Microsoft servers and that will slow down the pc and internet connection. Make sure set up W10 to prevent automatic updates, the rest is acceptable.

just upgraded last weekend. anyone can provide straight forward methods to

1. disable automatic update and reboot

2. stop win10 posting info to microsoft

 

i searched the web and most solutions are not straight forward or may be applicable to the pre-release version only. the reboot after auto update is most annoying

To disable W10 autoupdates follow:

 

Follow commands:

run;

lusrmgr.msc;

click on User folder;

double click Administrator;

uncheck Account is disabled;
