i use 14 day free trial from motivewave website. (need to register and they will sent code for 14 day trial to our email) and MW ver 5.2.1 can use google datafeed

 

This is a good solution. Anyway after 14 days we are ko.

 

I've installed latest MV in a Windows10 internal virtual-machine. After 14 days I will create another virtual machine and I will require new license trial. I don't know if it will be necessary a hider IP. Unfortunately I have Static IP provider.

yup. it mean google datafeed only work for version 5.2.1 and no more working for old version (4.2.24) :(:(

Release notes from new 5.2.2 version

1. Google/Yahoo – Since Labor Day, Google has disabled their interface for free live quotes. This update will poll Yahoo for quotes instead. Please note the restrictions on Yahoo quotes:

a. Delayed – Yahoo quotes are typically delayed by 15 minutes (or more)

b. Limited – The range of live quotes from Yahoo is more limited than the quotes that were available from Google.

You could download historical data here https://stooq.com/q/d/?s=eurusd&c=0 Available many instruments/ All End Of Day data. Csv files good for importing in to Motivewave

I'm joining this a little late, but here it is, Minions version works great, nothing is installed just a folder called portable is created during your first execution of the Motivewave.exe file. Mack sure you have it in the location you plane to work from it at, as it's a little sensitive to being moved after created. as for viruses, there are none, but most virus and malware protections will flag it because of the way it operates upon the run cycle. Solution all virus and malware protections have a neat feature called "Exclusions (file or folder)", just select the folder option and navigate to your folder that has Motivewave in it (ex. /Downloads/MotiveWave 4.2.24/) and select it to be excluded from scans. Done, enjoy. Hopefully we can get the new version educated soon.

Thank you for the clarification. I now believe it is safe to temporarily disable the AV if it would not allow to install this software.

 

I still like using free AVs. AVG 2017 (now belongs to AVAST) and AVAST 2017 are the PC Mag editor's choice for free AVs. For NOD32 you pay about $40 a year. Do you think it really justifies the recurrent expense?

Yloader works great for EOD data, but is there a downloader for intraday data such as for 1 minute data?
