The file you are trying to download is no longer available.

This could be due to the following reasons:

The file has been removed because of a ToS/AUP violation.

Invalid URL - the link you are trying to access does not exist

The file has been deleted by the user.

Reason #1, Links were deactivated because the publisher filed a complaint: "The file has been removed because of a ToS/AUP violation." That's the problem with open forum boards.

Another issue is, mega is now restricting download bandwidth of free users. I suspect they're reacting to the fact that their conversion rate of free account to paid account holders has been poor.

 

So mega is no longer suitable for sharing large sets of files, at least not in an open forum like this where over 100 people may download them. In fact, I think no free account will work for this forum for that reason.
