suppose chart price in ninjatrader is set as 'Last price'.

all prices in the chart are last prices.

when you set buy or sell price on the chart, which price will trigger the entry, bid, ask, or last price?

supplose your sell is set at 13.0 (Limit order) on the chart.

bid, ask, last

A) 13.2, 13.3, 13.3

B) 13.1, 13.2, 13.1

C) 13.0, 13.1, 13.2

D) 12.9, 13.0, 13.1

E) 12.7, 12.8, 13.0

which one of the above ticks will trigger the sell? C or E?

After the triggering, will the sell entry line shown on the chart be in the level of 13.0, even if it is triggered at C or at E?

If you sell at the bid price of 13.0 and the entry line is shown in the level of 13.0, then when the current last price line on the chart comes to the 13.0, it doesn't mean break even (profit=0), does it? It means loss, right?

Thanks.

Seems to me, you've just started your adventure with NT. A long journey ahead of you and as I suppose, everlasting... ;)

Most of the answers on your questions you can find in the NT help. These issues are related to the simulation/replay accounts.

http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt7/?simulation.htm

http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt7/?simulator_tab.htm (Enforce immediate fills)

http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt7/?using_historical_bid_ask_serie.htm

http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt7/?fifo_optimization.htm

Addidionally, I suggest you also to read about the Strategy Analyzer (to be prepared for further surprises)

After you read the help, run NT, download the replay data for the desired instrument and date, connect to "Market Replay Connection". Then open the SuperDOM, run (play) replay and try to teach and practice yourself by entering and changing your sim orders.

Later compare your findings using live data...
