Hi there. Have just chanced upon this site and their indicator. Having read their limited description and seen their interesting but cropped pics (they don't show the bottom panel of the charts,hmmm),I am still left with questions.At first I thought it was another customised Renko bartype, but after asking them they said it was a renko based indicator.They say it's for NT and can be used for both Forex and Futures.

I was wondering if anyone did take their trial and what were the findings?

Thanks.

stephen, just because NT grants these bloody vendors as "Add On Ecosystem partners" doesn't mean squat for the experienced retail trader.NT already have a terrrible track record of "Add on partners" which they are trying hard to keep under wraps.We can't simply take NT's word regarding vendors,most of whom have a dirty past and history of ineffective products and scammy services.Best if we did some due diligence research of our own.

I visited the page (renkometer.com) and couldn't come to a conclusion on exactly what they were offering,but you did say you emailed them and they said it isn't a custom renko bartype but an indicator.Their cropped images gives me cause for concern though.No doubt they don't want people to see the bottom panel of the charts.Question is why? Can it be replicated with standard indicators?

Also these guys are associated with another site which looks similar. The site is http://www.currencytrading.rocks (another red flag)

Just doing a casual search gives me the name of Ken Woods, which pops up another red flag. I can keep going on and on but if you are really interested I can ask my "procurers" to see if they can acquire a demo which you will need to get educated.

You get a free 2 week trial when subscribing to a plan. You can cancel during the trial period and not get billed.

Takasan! Any information on this indicator or the vendor?

I believe it's $9.95 USD for the first 2 weeks Trial then $49.00 USD for each month if you don't cancel

You are correct on the pricing which I see after going to the PayPal link.

Email correspondence is with a chap named Tim Blackwood, who is also the voice in the introductory video. That's all I know. I don't have high hopes for performance with a Renko based breakout system. Interesting they are tied to NT when this is primarily a FX tool with no mention or images of trading Futures--the bread and butter of NT.

Really Cash,with all these red flags that you picked up on, do you think I should? Although I certainly will be interested if your "procurers" can obtain a demo. Btw, what are "procureres" and how do I get it educated? Sorry I am in newbie city.:-/:-??

@stevenmore, you can become a "procurer" as many of us are by simply signing up for the $9.95 trial and then post the contents of what you receive (including instructions) on sendspace and post that link here. Then, one of the highly esteemed educators will fix it and repost for the forum to review. Very simple process.

stephen, I don't know man,just thought I'd help you out since you posted a query about them.What are procurers?. Well now that I am back on the IM scene,I am in weekly contact with them again.. Just consider them "acquirement specialists". If you need stuff in trading, business,etc, and you don't want to pay fees, or high premiums,they can get it for you, just don't ask how. Btw, you will be pleased to learn that they have managed to acquire the demo for you.How to educate? Well in that regard,only one person can help you. You have a PM.;)

Lulu, how's it going? My "procurers" are good at getting goodies that you need but unfortunately can't "educate" indicators , even if their lives depended on it. LOL

So how soon will we hear about the performance of this wonderful indicator? Those of you who are testing, please report in with your findings.

How the hell, it could work well, if it's built based on the following indicators: (???)

rms = SMA(rMS_Period);

rmc = CCI(rMC_Period);

rmdd = DM(rMDD_Period);

rmi = DMI(rMI_Period);

rmr = RSI(rMR_Period, rMR_Smooth);

rma = ADX(rMA_Period);

it's true my friend..........=D>.......since the appearance of simple MA is fundamentally nothing has changed,Only a variety of beautiful packaging for them, and so they can work as they possibly chased in the strategy tester, but, all this narrowly targeted and short-lived .... it all looks back on the price, on the history of the always beautiful.....;))

there are indicators constructed on the tracking bursts volume in milliseconds, but looking at them, we can judge by the fait bideram limits or in fact, never in advance! and only a careful application of money management

This is a very profound statement, and probably applicable to most Trading Systems. Most fail under live conditions as they fail to accurately process new quantitative data. As you stated: The past does not dictate the future. We are "Fooled by Randomness" as quoted in the seminal work of Nicholas Taleb.

A must read for the aspiring speculator:

Seems this is a customised indicator that somebody named Ken Woods paid TradingCoders.com to code for him, and it's called Tax Free Quid. Definitely of English(UK) origins.

As for the trading itself, I find that the only real value I can get out of it are the RMDD lines (red and green) at the top of the indicator panel.

http://screencast.com/t/4y7xM3KQy

I find it is only useful for scalping small gains in FX or Futures. Whenever the lines cross,(green for UP/Buys) and (red for DOWN/Sells),however it is not too stable as they cross frequently.

But in the manual, it says that trading the crosses during expected market news announcements can prove to be quite beneficial as the trend tends to stay.

http://screencast.com/t/4y7xM3KQy

I believe you can also adjust the parameters of the RMDD period.Default is 10.I changed mine to 12 for less frequent crossings.

The manual talks about the RMA (the dark thick line) and to always watch if it crosses from below and remained above the mark 20.It also says about the RMA (dark thick line) and RMI (blue line) are the only 2 indicators you may need to fine tune the exact time to enter or exit a trade.This was not apparent to me when watching Futures,but may hold water in FX markets.

I must say this Renkometer reminds me of Shift Theory indicator that admis has educated already in this forum.

For me, Renkometer has not been a significant edge in analysis and charting, but I won't say it's useless or of no value.After all we try to learn from all the many indicators in the past that has been educated by our past and present educators.And the true value of this forum has been the knowledge and friendships gained for and by each other.

Thanks again Cash and Admis for this indicator.:)
