CashManic
Well it looks like IndicatorIncubator want to provide you with an early X'mas present this year. They are offering their IDiver(Divergence) for you. Ho! Ho! Ho! Scotty shouts in his booming voice. Well I dunno if he's going to be on my X'mas card list this year but I'll probably include nice guy Chris.;)) A smoothed CCI indicator with a Divergence tool with alerts.Everytime a divergence is detected, an audio alert is sounded. It can also help you spot turning points through price momentum.Best used with the iRenko bartype. Import as per normal iDiver-v1.0.1.zip (37.01KB) https://www.sendspace.com/file/t71u0f (many thanks admis)http://i57.tinypic.com/2qkv7n7.jpg Christopher explains the iDev indicator and talks about the settings and customisations that is possible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpwnpyrGhMY#t=11 Cheers,:) Cash. profile
I searched for 'channelpivots' on II via the searchfield, but only got one hit: this thread. Could someone please be so kind to upload the channelpivots so we can compare to the iRenko bars? Many thanks.
CashManic
Cashmanic, just curious what channels/bollingers are you using there? @v777 They are not Bollinger channels. That's their iBands which is a dynamic updating trend following mean reversion tool. Incubator say it's a first for Ninjatrader, so it's unprecedented. According to their recent webinars, Incubator are going to come out with new systems pretty soon before and after the upcoming Ninjatrader 8 public beta which is slated for November end. They have 3 base, core indicators that all their future system indicators and fully automated strategies are going to be based on. Scott has brought on a very capable programmer Christopher(formerly at TFT) to join him at Incubator. So all their base indicators are very important. IBands, iBars and iRenko. iBands iBars iRenko Here are all their latest, standalone, updated core indicators iBars paintbar, iBands price channels and iRenko bartypes. Hopefully they can be educated for us at Investasi.;) incubator.zip (54.88KB) https://www.sendspace.com/file/e9f6b8 Cheers.:) Edited November 17, 2014 by CashManic holrthnthou, Darktrader, atd and 9 others
profile
Cashmanic, Thank you so much for the incubator materials. I was looking to the iScalper and found it very interesting. I can not wait for the educated version as the incubator materials are more complete than the iScalper package. Using iScalper, I created multiple charts in Ninja and run multiple instruments. Once price moves further outside the bands AND I get the dot from the iScalper AND the bands show the right direction: then a very high probability trade takes place (but sometimes just one or two trades a day per instrument. Unfortunately the dot indicator of the iScalper package is still a black box for for me. I created however some sound files for Ninja alerting me if an instrument goes long or short (does no imply taking a trade! It just causes me to follow the instrument). See https://www.sendspace.com/file/x8bf31 These sound files were made by text-to-speech at http://www2.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php Edited November 17, 2014 by profile CashManic, Wanderer, admis and 7 others

Yes you are right and Incubator too have been right and honest about their iBands price channel.Everytime price deviates from the mean and go outside the upper or lower bands, it always tends to come right back into the channel. If we use our own initiative, we can be ready for the predicted move anyways but I did hear Christopher say they are preparing a fully automated hands free strategy that will take into account all possible mean reversion channel entry/exit price moves so consequently, if everything pans out right there will be more trades per day per instrument. Well it's worth a look. Thanks again! Cheers,:) wizard101, Wanderer, enzofox and 5 others
profile
The iBands are repainting heavily(I use the limited version in the iScalper product), but can be used very well at the time of entry. But in hindsight a chart with iBands will look better than the holy grail. I can recommend you make a strategy that always plots a dot at the close of a bar with the same price as the upper and lower band. I did this for the iScalper product (which has a limited version of the iBands of the incubator company) and the dotted trace shows you where the bands were at the time they were plotted the first time and before the repainting process started. For an impression see http://my.jetscreenshot.com/22591/20141117-enrq-475kb CashManic

profile
Yamantaka, For me too early to reply to your question. But if you accept just one or two trades a day based on: - Only trades as per trend - Only trades where entry bar touches the bands - Only trades where the iScalper red/green circle is visible (I wish someone could tell me how this signal is working) - Use extension for bands above 1.0. I use now value 1.1 Then I would say you have a very high probability trade with appr. 8 ticks or more. I have no logs I can show you, no automation strategy (I wish I could do that). I am just very recently exposed to the iScalper and now incubator, So I have no real history of experiences. Please consider my input just as a personal experience. tradershare, yamantaka, exp48967 and 6 others
