Use "Update View" instead of "Get Quotes" - this works for me since 2 days ago only.

Yahoo has changed how its data is downloaded. Previous download programs including but not limited to MLDownloader and Yloader (when Yahoo as the source; Google and QuoteMedia work but have data issues) no longer work.

Try with MotiveWave, set datafeed in Yahoo-Google, here you can see minute and daily historical data.

Anyone know, what happen with historical data of Yahoo Finance?...I can download historical data with MLDownloader until May 12 of 2017; in the last week I can´t download data. Also the data from the web site are bad.

Yahoo has changed his way to use their data via 3rd party application so all software using yahoo finance data are facing this type of difficulty, now yahoo going to give his data via two way 6th month data via 3rd party application can be downloaded automatically because only 6th month data will be available on yahoo online server, rest of history also be available with another server but one have to download it manually if they need.

 

An update followed by education(off course) will solve the problem with MLDownloader

There are also PROBABLY some alternative solutions, but they imply to use AUTOMATION BOTS, and to write specific SCRIPTS ( kind of programs code ) which is being compiled....Lots of Make and Try, with knowing necessarily BEFORE the various parameters of the Datas needed ( yahoo / Goog / etc... )

 

I am sure @ 80% it can be done, just a question of FOCUS, Free time, and Determination.

 

Probably searching goog with the right keywords could give already some interesting results.....

yahoo database is full of weird prices... often closing price is below daytime low...and so chart looks messy.

good thing is, freeware yloader works again. choose quotemedia as download source and everything is great again ;)
