FxNewbie
Forex trading is technically described as "Skilled Gambling" for those who are successful. For those that are not well informed, I strongly believe it can be described as gambling because if there is no skill involved the new trader is relying on chance that a desired outcome will result. The good thing though is if you use good money mangement, you can still profit if you get the direction correct 50% or more. But that is a skill too .... supertrader
Gambling in Forex trading is only for those people who wish to be poor faster than ever. Depend on luck itself with the chart, either it will goes up or down. Without your willingness to learn the basic idea of trading, and practicing with demo account. Gaban
Thanks for your opinions. And in my opinion, it's depend on how we do trading. If we just rely on luck, it same with gambling. We need to make analysis if we wanna get profit consistently, and we can use market news to help us make analysis. We can use money management to minimize the risk and try to discipline. Quote www.instaforex.com

If you really don't know anything about forex and just doing it just rely on luck, yes it is gamble. On this business we must work very hard to learn and study this forex trading, this business is a really high risk. We can gain profit very fast but we can get loss very fast too. So if we can find a suitable strategy for us to gain profit consistently, this business can be very promising business for us to do.

lllusion
I dislike it when people equate trading in general with gambling. But then again we are working with taking risks based on education on probabilities. There's more to it than just that though..
Gaban
We will not be able to get 100% profit every day in forex, because the movement of the market we can not predict with certainty, we can not rely on luck only in forex. Gaban
True, as long as you can minimize the lost during trading, that will be sufficient. But not treating Forex as gambling. Gambling and trading is absolutely, definitely different terms. Trading and gambling are different things, so we can not equate the two to each other. We must have knowledge and experience in forex, and we need enough long time to be a successful trader here. Need patience to facing problems, not greed. That is why we need the ability to be able to obtain trading profits consistently in forex. And trading skills that we should also hone in order to become better. Demo trading and demo contest are the perfect place to hone our trading ability. Quote www.instaforex.com
