Thanks for your help, however, the Volume Profile indicator is not plotting any of the profiles (composite, micro, session). I verified it will live, cache (both tick, minute, vol data). Could you please help resolve.

iceice, protection was slightly different in DFibX and VolumeProfile. I've updated link in post #2.

John: Appreciable help very much, there is memory leak. The chart takes lot of time for composite (memory touches 1GB). Tested many time, it take too much time to even plot one thing also. pleaze can you help checking vol profile indicator issues.

iceice, vol profile indicator seemed to be working just fine on my system. CPU/memory usage are holding steady.

 

The only issue I see in the output window is alot of the following text.

 

DrawVPOC EXCEPTION: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

at NinjaTrader.Indicator.CDA_VolumeProfile.DrawVPOC()

thaomoua: You need to build composite profile, not session volume profile. ALso not only building it but leave it for sometime, you can see what i say. building for 60 days takes lot of CPU and memory (this is with cache enabled and using 5 min data). compared previous version also.

I downloaded the patched file in post #2, imported into NT7 but I do not see it in my indicator list?? Do I need to install the un-patched version first or something???

nemaxiz...once you reach a certain threshold of posts (I forget the number), you will see a "Thanks" button appear in the lower left corner of the posting box. You may be able to see a star there now. Press it and provide positive feedback for JMD.

Hi ray72ro you can give this one a try-just tested on my end and seems to work. Does seem at least on my end to bog NT down.
