The new Bull's-Eye Broker 5 will soon be available. The beta version is available from http://www.pointandfigure.com/BEB5.exe If you're not familiar with PnF charting, here's a webinar http://www.pointandfigure.com/BEB/point_and_figure_basics/point_and_figure_basics.html

that technique won't work. the version 5 is written in dotnet. it is actually easier to patch than V4. it isn't even obfuscated. and has no protections whatsoever.

I think BEB5 is their first attempt to develop a trading platform out of an analysis program. I actually like the PnF chart display on BEB4 better than BEB5, but the rest of the new platform looks nice. If you happen to crack BEB5, I'd like to know the proceedure. Even if its written in .NET, its been compiled and I'm not sure you can decomplile it to change the code.

load it into a program called reflector it will decompile it nicely. then , in this case there is a "CheckLicense" function.

You make it sound easy and worth looking into.

Do you have any other steps for those of us who are not familiar with .NET?

I've observed that many popular trading program are developed in C#.NET and this seems to be a good solution for them once the process is learned.

How to Decompile a .NET Program

It is easy in this instance. this program is a 2 out of 10 in difficulty. I wrote that tut for version 4 on TZ a while ago, but it was a lot of work uploading images to hosts and what-not. I really don't want to do that again. I would recommend grabbing the latest Reflector and the latest Reflexil plugin to make the patches. watch a few tuts and you should be able to tackle this in no time.

I am still kinda hangin in the background for now. Peace.
