I use this process.

1- Make Install clean TS 9

2- When the software try auto-update > STOP

3- Update using upgrade version into pakage

4- Start TS and close

5- Replace files

6- Start TS and go off line

 

I use with IB and works fine

 

Why not block TS from updating by using Window's host file. Edit the host file to prevent it from contacting the TS update website. This is a common practice for hackers.

can anyone plz tell me how to import csv file in to tradestation 9.0. when i try the exchanges list doesnt come . and when i click ok it says exchange name has to be entered

Hi, after multiple tries, i decided to go for TS8.7. But the Owndata 2.7 downloaded is flagged down with a trojan horse. Comodo firewall stopped it, Adaware also flagged it and Nod32 also flagged it. For the sake of my intense desire to have TS 8.7 working with esignal, I stopped all the 3 anti-virus features and clean install Owndata 2.7 again. Doubleclick it and nothing happens. Thats when I know something is wrong and quickly scan with Adaware. Indeed, Adaware sounded out there is a serious threat in the form of a trojan horse.

 

Can anybody share a clean Owndata 2.7 here. Greatly appreciate that.

Another question. When I was using TS8.1 many years ago, there was another file in the crack folder and that is the Auth Token which I find its missing here in 8.7. Am I missing something here or it is not needed any more.

Hey I would just like to reopen the concept of getting data without an esignal subscription.

 

I am currently running tradestation 8.7 and have free FX feed, It was Andreybbrv that helped set that up.

 

Is it possible to get live data feed from somewhere without paying for it? Or is it impossible. Also I am unable to use RadarScreen in offline mode. Has anyone been able to make radarscreen work in offline mode without paying for a subscription to live data?

successlife, can you please provide more details on how to get TS 9.0 working with IB (interactive brokers) in real-time? Do you use Owndata 3?

sisirchow I dont know if it helps but make custexch file, just regular text file document and call it custexch and inside write NASD,10 dont forget a coma between NASD and 10 and put it in CAL file in tradestation maybe it will help, I am not sure if it works for nifty, google what to write in custexch file for nifty, if this don't work Edited April 2, 2012 by metal

The reason you are not able to load your data is because you do not have the correct information in your attributes folder. The attributes folder is where TS looks for direction so that it can read your data, once you have the correct instructions in your attribute folder, then your charts will open.

This is what you need to do, type in the following statement below in notepad and save it as attributes, the next step is to locate your data folder where you keep your data and paste in the notepad attributes file inside .You also need to tell TS where you are located, that is your time zone. To do this, open notepad and type in

BMSE,23 and save it as custexch.txt

then go to windows>program files>tradestation folder>CAL folder and paste in your custexch.txt file

 

the number refers to your location, so for example if you reside in the USA, you would enter BMSE,18

 

Are you running TS9 in offline or live mode, are you able to get live data feed or EOD data

Owndata 3 is not cracked, because have USB key. TS 9 and higher versions work with OD 3. TS 8.7 work with OD 2.7

Although I've downloaded Owndata, I don't know how to use it. Does it get real time data from some provider without using a logon password? Do you still have to register with the data provider? What does Owndata do?

The solution in problem of post #97 is that the language must select English, then the situation (#97) will be avoided.

 

With TS 9.1 that doesn't make sense. I didn't find any language button. What worked was clicking on the chart analysis and selecting from the available symbols in the pull-down menu left of the LOOKUP button.
