Lol i did a quick backtest on EURUSD, using like 0.05 lots on a 5k demo account, profit on averages of 2.50 but drawdowns of $400-%500... umm yeah anyone else get anything different? After loss the EA will open up a trade at 5 times the size of the previous one... Thanks In response to this here's what the website says: In 98% of cases it is right. And in the 2% of cases when it is wrong, Antony & Ronald added a great reverse strategy inside which instantly opens a trade in the opposite direction and covers the small loss. This simple trick makes the robot really undefeatable on both backtest and live trading! Now in my words. It does have a Martingale feature that like you said is "5 times" the size of the original trade, however in its defense it does place the trade in opposite direction allowing it to flow with the trend that it had originally predicted in reverse. With the 4x market there are going to be times that it just cannot be predicted, not by the news or even any specialized forecasting services. Why? Because sometimes large corporations and/or governments need to immediately make a swap in currencies. There is no news for that. It just happens and affects the currency involved. There was no such a trade in live accounts in myfxbook.com. I wonder why and what to believe. the educated version, have u read the manual? ie choose like 15 minute time frame, and turn autogmtoffset to false? paws Posted May 10, 2011 Report Share Posted May 10, 2011 I knew within a few days of purchase that I would never use this robot - backtesting showed that it would blow up the account (after the opposite trade with 5X the risk, it then reverses again and you are losing capital at 5X the initial rate until it devours all your capital) on Nov. 12, 2010 and came within one pip of blowing up the account on Oct. 12, 2010 (twice within a month!). BEWARE! The published track record shows no trade on Nov. 12, 2010. But when I backtested EU, clearly the account would have blown up on that day!
