Problem viewing threads - posts disappearing

Hi guys,

 

Just recently I've experienced strange problems in viewing threads where not all posts are being shown. It's as though the database index is corrupt when threads are viewed through certain routes though not through others.

 

I've compiled a bunch of screenshots to illustrate the problem:

Any ideas what could be causing this? Is anyone else having the same problem ?

 

I've tried clearing my browser cache and logging out and back in again and can't fix it from my side.

Eureka!

 

The problem was mine all along 8-)

 

I'm using IE and had set my browsing history settings to never check for newer versions of stored pages. I'd changed this setting and others based on some recommendations for improving performance, though it didn't make much difference and I'd forgotten about it.

 

I've set this back to check for newer versions every time I check the web page and it works fine now.

There is a problem with the following thread where one is unable to get to 2nd page onwards of the following thread.

You are indeed correct nnn123, the reason however, eludes me. I have tried it with three browsers, all the same!

yeah i too had same probleum on many occassions , i think it generally happens either with very old threads , most viewed threads or when too many members are at same thread 8-)

Yep - I've seen this before too :)

 

We need to get one of the mods to change the thread title if possible.

 

Having ... in the title is causing problems.
