Look what has happened the last few times the price has tested both the M15 SMA's, more often than not it has led to a pretty descent decline or gain. Either way we have just broken support and i have moved my stop down to minimize risk, i am trying to gauge what each signal will yield, on average. syk1kz Posted December 19, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 19, 2010 Hi TheBeast,Thanks for the interest, i have pretty much worked out this MTF stochastics, i just cannot work out a descent exit point, every time i think i find one then visually back test it generally turns out to be nothing more than a short move in the opposite direction, a relief move of some kind. I can just use a 1:2 RR but more often than not i short change myself a shitload of pips. Still need to come up with something solid, My preference at this stage is open multiple positions and trail one as much as possible and simply close the other at no less than 1:2 RR. If we take 1:2 on one trade and move the other to breakeven we are really taking a 1:1 RR since we are risking twice. Anyway i will continue to play with it as i see it being extremely profitable with the correct TF etc Looking at data this week i see nothing worth trading today. The JPY news will simply keep me away from yen pairs until after it has been released. syk1kz Posted December 21, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 21, 2010 I am going to post another system update in a little while with a few pre made templates with settings i am using on M5 - M30, i have not gone beyond M30 and do not plan to. I have also included quik trailing EA to make things easier. As for rules well that still requires some defining, But i am confident when i take the same setups over and over they are always turning some profit out. I have been letting trades ride out to see what i can expect from a setup. I still have no hard answer here and i suggest market times would be a large factor to what each signal may turn out. Asian will probably give less than say NY, But i cant be sure. Since i am on holidays i have no plans spending it all in front of the monitor and trade when i feel like it, at the moment that is not often. Anyway update will follow after i hit the bakery.
