can someone help me to add an alert to this indi

The alert should come up when the macd closed in opposite colour, i mean when the color changes and closed.

what are the preferred settings for this indi? what time frame do you use it on? Thanks.

it's just one of the systems i use, i use it on 30m for eur/yen alone got 75% profit on it. Just one of the freebies online. i need the alert

at least you could do the three things that we ask to do in order to get the right answer,

 

1- use code tag for your links or codes

2- post a picture indicating where the alert should take place.

3- post the mq4 code, not the protected one.

 

I guess I can just put alert and upload it here !! :)

It is not a MACD but an OSMA histogram indicator which changes color when it crosses the zero-line.

 

@seggyson,

please communicate in a way that helps people to understand what you are asking for. scarface described how to do it.

 

Anyways, here is an indicator which is capable of more than you requested.

It changes color when the histogram bar is changing direction.

So you can get an alert when that happens

or when the bars cross the zero-line.

I entered at the change of the hist. with 35pips SL and first Tp 15pips while i trail the rest by 25pips. This has been working so well you can try it, all i need is the alert at the hist. changes

If you want the indicators to match, you need to put the same settings

for both.

why didn´t you say that from the beginning ?

 

It is hard to find the GP_MACD settings in the screenshot you attached.

 

What you need is a MTF-OSMA with Alert because your GP_MACD is an OSMA-indicator.

For a good coder it is no problem to add an alert or make the one I posted to MTF, but I tried and failed.
