Hi Roels Major,

According to the newsletter posted by bluewoof - post #20

That meant when we are stopped out by hitting the Stop Loss, there will be no trade within the same week, otherwise the OCO is not applicable.

correct me if I'm wrong

Regards

R

I got interesting idea to minimize the loss...but not sure this will work....

Some modification on rule :

2. After Monday's morning open be ready to buy on a stop at the opening price + the quantity

from step (1). Or, be ready to sell at the price on a stop of the opening price - the quantity from

step (1).

New rule added :

- Set expire on both order on Saturday (for each pair).

- Set both buystop and sellstop open until expire date on Saturday. So this not OCO and just total 2 trade if triggered per week ( for each pair).

4. If you are not stopped out-- wait for the open of the next weekly bar, which would be the next

Monday morning at 00:00 CST. (For a short trade, reverse these instructions)

New Rule added :

- All Exit will be handled on Monday (all position still open must be closed) after 1 hour bar closed from the weekly market open.

What do you think?

Update positions.....

This system has strength character to be the winning and it was the profitable one.....market at any time has self similarity....so i think trading in long term is not just the pips.....it is everything we are...

In this chart what happen with dollar-yen?......the yen always has it's own problem......

Hi,

I have modified the indicator so that it could be shifted according to CST = 00:00. However, the lines only show correct in TF H1 and H4, switch to TF M30 and lower, all the lines squish together, could somebody help me to rectify it.

The chart shown is FxPro's which is now GMT+2, now 00:00CST=06:00GMT+0, so I need to input "8" to the "BrokerTimeOffset" (6 + 2 =8).

if your broker is GMT+1, then you shall input the figure 7, (6 + 1)...etc,etc....

Cheers

The Latest News From Joel :

Friday, December 31, 2010

The Infiniteyield Challenge account is now at $26,522.00

It has been an incredible year for the Infiniteyield Forex Challenge.

I've had a number of you call me recently and ask how well the account has been doing because you've been doing well yourselves -- thanks for the calls and interest. I figured I better post the year's results before the coming of the new year in a few hours.

In the 159 weeks since I started the $500 Challenge account with Oanda it has grown through a combination of OneNightStand trades, the weekly FirstStrike trades, and a relatively small position in silver.

Currently it has doubled 5 1/2 times. From here, I only have to double the account less than 3 times to achieve my goal of $150,000 or more.

With 7 years to go.

(Completion of the post is in progress....)
