open metaserver...new symbol....

1) SYMBOL NAME DAX

2) DDE: MT4

3) TRADE RECORD:MT4|BID!Ger30Dec12

4) ASK RECORD:MT4|ASK!Ger30Dec12

5) BID RECORD:MT4|BID!Ger30Dec12

it's all...allow metatrader 's dde in TOOL-OPTION...

I wrote Dax only for example...if you want other instruments you must write other symbols....data come from metatrader...did you read the title of this thread????

You must copy and paste the file Winros.exe from:

 

C:\Program files\MetaServer RT 2.0 Pro (Dde version)

 

to

 

C:\Program files\Equis\MetaStock\Servers\Venddlls

 

Then, now Winros.exe is into Metaserver and also in Metastock program.

 

Now try again, if not work tell me.

METASERVER – METASTOCK 6.52 / 11 Pro The way to set it up.

 

MetaStock must be set up to receive real-time quotes through DBC Signal

 

If MS is already installed:

 

MS needs to be installed with the DBC Signal (Broadcast) data feed option.

 

To check which data feed is currently installed start the application “Equis Real-time Configuration” This application can be found in your Equis international menu which can be found if you press start.

 

Go to the Data Vendor tab.

 

Right under the tab Data Vendor you can read the name of the current installed vendor. That needs to be DBC Signal (Broadcast).

 

If that is not currently installed you need to reinstall MetaStock and select DBC Signal (Broadcast) as data vendor.

 

After installing MS again you need to replace the file Winros.exe which can found in the C:\Program Files\DBC\signal directory. You need to replace it with the Winros.exe file which can be found in the directory C:\Program Files\Metaserver RT 2.0 Pro (metaserver directory might be named slightly different) copy the Winros.exe file found in the Metaserver directory to the DBC\signal directory. there is no data coming from MT4 to metaserver rt 2.0 although no error(Although enable already in MT4 server). what settings should i put on metaserver pro rt 2.0? for example EURUSD? thanks
