heisamit Posted October 1, 2010 Report Share Posted October 1, 2010 I think this indicator would only work in trending markets and in choppy markets would take a bad beating...and the problem is that noone can predict when the market is going to trend and when its going to consolidate...and thats the reason the sellers of this sytems just put charts for the periods when the indicator manages to capture a nice big move...wish they could show the indicator performance by showing the hourly charts for say 2 months at a stretch...but no they wont do that they only chop the charts where it looks good to make the indicator look lucrative. The scam marketer knows this by heart and throws his bait and small fish hungry and curious of new smells, constantly renewed, jump over, and vanish with each new wave. In particular, an endangered species called the "newbies". heisamit Posted October 2, 2010 Report Share Posted October 2, 2010 Thanks Freddy....I know now how to upload files...yes and thats right, trend lord already shared on this forrum....to test if an indicator repaints, simply place it on a 1 minute chart and soon enough you will get the answer after you observe the chart for some time. Trend Lord repaints the last 1 or 2 bars....non lag dot is an indicator that doesnot repaint and yep thats available for free online, google it and you will find it ..there are 2 versions , one the repainting one and the other the non repainting one, both are freely available.. I'm just evaluating Forex Trend Champion as a longer term trend filter on a 1hr chart, not to trade as a stand alone on a short term 15m chart (as you depict). Minhtri, I just put your 30period Fisher Kuskus indicator on my 1hr chart for evaluation. The Kuskus indicator seems better as a trading indicator but worse as a long term trend filter.
