Sixer Posted December 11, 2016 Report Posted December 11, 2016 Is the CT soft really working with Windows 10? https://www.sendspace.com/file/eqrgss Sixer ⭐ mr12323 and ylidor 2 Quote
Banner Posted December 11, 2016 Report Posted December 11, 2016 Probably no, the sase file not work with Win 7. Quote
strat57 Posted December 11, 2016 Report Posted December 11, 2016 Sixer, Thank you very much for this. I have been trying to get my hands on this for some time. I don't know about Win 10 but could not get it to run under Win 7. It does however work fine in XP virtual mode though. Only problem I had there was with ASCII data. It seems to prefer MetaStock. Sixer Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 strat57, the file is from a time where Windows XP was available only. All softs from that time work with MetaStock EoD data. Pls. provide us with some screenshots/experience of your tests. Sixer Quote
strat57 Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 Hi Sixer, I haven't really done anything with it yet other then create a chart with old MetaStock data I had on the PC. Next step will be to figure out a easy way to convert data into MS form (it seems to want both dat. and dop. files) and then port everything over to the virtual drive. Once I figure everything out and come up with something that I think could be beneficial to the community I'll be glad to share it so all can use. Quote
Bill Bundle Posted January 9, 2017 Report Posted January 9, 2017 What version of Windows does it work on? Quote
Bill Bundle Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 Then I'll have to use it in a Virtualbox loaded with Win XP. Windows XP Quote
srpaul69 Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 For Win 10: Install Cycle Timer and apply fixed .exe. Right click on CT icon and select Troubleshoot compatibility. Let Windows do it's thing and test run and accept the recommended settings. It should be okay now. ⭐ mr12323 1 Quote
