chrisbenjy
Hey, I have an MT4 EA that has an error that occurs every so often, but the problem is that it never happens when I am at the computer and observing. So I was thinking about using a screen capturer or whatever they're called, so that I can see why the error is occuring. The features that I need on it are these: One that saves the video as a low resolution so it does not take up lots of hard drive space. (Low resolution but still viewable) Can record the MT4 window even if I am not viewing that window. Can record for many hours without stopping, sometimes up to 7 hours. Does anybody know one with all or most of these features? Thanks Chris

chrisbenjy
Hey wakjoe, Thanks, but it's not what I am looking for. I am looking for a screen recorder, like this: http://camstudio.org/ But better. Chris
iltc2001
I think the only way to do this is to use a screen capture software like Camtasia but you will need to to have your MT4 open on the screen as it's only capture the screen. You can save on disk space by turning off the audio recording and also select the area to record instead of the full screen. I have recorded over 3 1/2 hours and without any problems. Try using Camtasia 7.0.1 , do not use Camtasia 7.0.0 as you will have problems with long recordings. chrisbenjy
