It seems that scalping is not allowed on Micro accounts based on what you have said, but it is allowed on Standard and ECN... not bad at all.

 

I still don't get it somehow why it is not allowed on Micro and it is allowed on Standard???

 

The Micro account has a fixed spread of 2 pips as I can see on the site while the Standard ranges between 1~2 pips so.....what does that mean?? Can you explain a little more.

Well, not exactly this way. The agreement has these restrictions basically for protection purposes. There might be EAs which generate as many requests to the server per 1 second, which just make trading for other people impossible. And therefore such orders may (MAY!) be canceled.

 

But in reality we have a lot of clients with micro accounts who scalp and none of them has yet complained about execution/requotes or orders deletion from our side.

 

We are ok with scalping in all account types.

scalping is allowed in Micro account but it's need above 3 minutes to closed your position (It more better, but closed under 3 minutes is ok), whatever you get pips 1 and or 2 it's really allowed closed manually.

My friend just had a live account with your company last week.

 

He told me that it seems your spreads are good enough (but not as low as advertised on your website. Eurchf has 3 pips most of the time, Eurgbp has 2 - 3 pips, Eurusd has around 2 to 2.5 pips, Usdcad : 2 to 3.xx pips, Usdchf : 2.xx to 3.xx pips).

 

The only disadvantage is that If clients open a mini live account such as : 100, 200, 300 usd, it is not sufficient to trade. Why?

 

Because your company fixed the lot sizes like: 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 etc. This is very difficult to use an ea with Money Management = TRUE.

 

While other companies allow: 0.1, 0.11, 0.12, 0.13, etc; 0.2, 0.21, 0.22, 0.23, etc.

 

So, if your company can consider about this important lot size increment like most other brokers, then, it will bring more advantages and benefits to your company, because more clients will like to trade with your company.

 

Yeah, good thing is that my friend said he almost had no requotes and slippage.

 

Hope that you can improve above mentioned issue on lot size increments, I will consider opening live account with your company, and also become your company's IB in future.

Dear Jennifer,

Thank you for the question.

For micro account spreads are fixed and they are always the same. For example, spread on eurusd is 2 pips. But for standard and unlimited accounts spreads are floating and it depends on the trading conditions. In the tab (http://www.fbs.com/trade/specification) there are only minamal and typical spreads. But spread is floating and it can differ from the typical value.

 

As for volume size: you may use any volume you want for your trading. In the platform there are fixed lot sized like: 0.1, 0.2,0.2 etc, but you may set any desirable volume size manually. You need just to type in this section "0.11" or "0.12" or "0.23" etc.

No, I asked my friend to try typing lot sizes like: 0.11, 0.12, 0.13, etc.

 

He said that it was impossible. The fixed lot sizes are still 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, etc.

 

He has a live account of 250 usd with FBS.

 

I hope that your company should consider to have flexible lot sizes increments such as: 0.05 (minimum lot size), 0.1, 0.11, 0.12, 0.13, 0.14, 0.15, 0.16, 0.17, 0.18, 0.19, 0.2, etc.

 

I will plan to open live account with your company once this change of lot sizes is available.

I think if you truly ECN, there is no benefit of that rule to your Broker....Could you explain me why?
