newbee1713006039
Hello, I would like to know, whether a % Trail Stop is possible to be coded? Lets say we have a range of 5 pips in profit and would like to have a 40% TS, which is now 2pips. But when the pips increase to 10 pips the EA should automatically change the 2 pips to 4 pips TS. regards newbee
iwjw
Everything is possible to be coded...question is, is it reliable. As long as your TS is below the broker's STOPLEVEL you have to trade with a virtual TP that isn't "granted" because it's not on the server. The slippage/requote might get you there newbee1713006039
newbee1713006039
Hi iwjw, thanks a lot for your quick response. So can a virtual, not granted" TP also be coded as "percentage of"?
iwjw
you can code a TP that is a percentage of a certain pip amount...with 5digit brokers it could even be in fractions of a pip...but you can't be sure that you can close your order excactly at TP as long as the client has to close the order by explicit close command newbee1713006039
