Like yourself I tend to pick up great indicators from various sources and combine them. The problem is that we all tend to add more and more indicators and them try to select entry points when all agree. This can help avoid losing trades but often gets in too late such that the gais can be greatly limited. Rather than throw in all the goodies can I suggest a bit more focus on the best complimentary indicators and optimise a much cleaner system? I just testing indicators.. when I finish the test I'll decide with what indicators I'll work this strategy... I don't like many indicators on my chart.. Regards caza! I have added and removed so many indicators and will probably do so many more times before I am entirely happy with my setup. This setup, however, is working very well. I like the Gann_HiLo and QQE indicators and am using the probability and signal bars to comfirm what is happening on the timeframe I am looking at in the context of longer and shorter terms. As said, this is not yet perfect but it is getting there. One part I have still not really tested to any great extent is the setup of the 50MA wave. I have tried Cazador's settings, the similar setup for FXPrime and Blackdog but feel that there is still work to be done here. Just takes so long to backtest against all significant pairs.
