salam friends, I think this is a joke. I decompiled multivers 1.1 found here and oups it s nothing that an old IMACD expert advisor. The IMACD is so simple that usualy it used to teach how to build first expert advisor.

I was checking Multivers 2.0 EA failures and found simple pattern with USDCAD pair. Most failures are in relation to Unemploiment Claims and Fed Chairman Bernanke Speaks bad news (as long as news are good it is OK).

 

MV failed 1 day before/same day Claims.

And one more hint - it is today, so I'm going to put Multivers to sleep today (all pairs with USD), because we had some bad data with Unemployment Claims - rise to 479K.

 

For CAD we should look for bad news with Trade Balance (and Foreign Securities Purchases), too.

Ok, I'm going to check other Pairs, too and I'll try to find patterns with High Impact News.

I'm using mix of 10 or more EAs and sometimes I'm using manual trades for hedging (because I have few Martingale EAs, too) - just for freeing Margin for other EAs.

 

All settings have very high risk (not recommended in Live trading) - sometimes over 40%.

 

 

Results for 5-6 aug 2010:

EAKAIN with EURGBP failed and hit bottom on my IamFX Demo.

 

I switched on my EAs on Live Account bit later when markets where calm and only Multivers took trades and made about 1,5% profit. Other EAs did not trade.

I have multivers_2_0.dll and it has all functions checkStrategy_1 to checkStrategy_5 with same parameter count. So should it work with v3, too???

I'm going to try v3 with v2 dll. Did not work

 

I'm using v2 live and it works ok. Hope it will stay so as long as possible. I'm using manual News traiding (sideways), too. If rough and shaking news come out I'm switching it to lower risk settings or block EAs as long as market is shaking (avoiding Greece type problems and loose my profit).

If US is going to another resession I'll lower the risk even more (hope FEDs are going to act sooner than EU did with Greece - it looked more like somebody needed weaker EURO and it looks same way now with USD, so I think JPY will be next, because strong yen will force Japan to take some action or they are going to have another downturn, too - september could be the turning point).
