Here you go this is my channel indicator I use with FX Boom it works great. However if you draw and lines on your chart when you have this indicator on it will erase them on the next tic.

Hello. everyone. I have noticed that the indicator "T&C Wonders" repaints badly.it looks like it is a kind of zigzag indicator actually. Did anyone found a method to use it anyway ?

Your sure it repaints after the close of the candle?

I have not noticed this but anything is possible I guess

Yes, I'm sure :) . Or if I correct myself-it draws arrows that just disappears latter on.

I run this indi in strategy tester for one period(say one day) and this indi draw alot of arrows... But when I attached it to the chart to just look at history(to see how looks at the same day,that I have tested in strategy tester)-these arrows just disappears....

Hmm someone posted some code here a while back and I made a indicator but now it's not to be found strange..

 

Well Staw I guess no arrows are better that wrong arrows..

I believe the arrow indicator is generated by taking previous high/low from last 12 candles/bars or so, or at least that's what I was told by some who understand the code. Either way, live it is not much help as it keeps drawing new arrows on every candle sometimes until eventually market moves in the direction of the arrow.

SF_trendlines indicator does not work for me either. It seems that indicator was renamed or something, and if you look at experts folder it shows messages that it can't open the indicator. See the message from MT4 below:

 

"2010.04.28 13:38:17 Cannot open file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\FXDD - MetaTrader 4\experts\indicators\#(SF_TREND_LINES).ex4' on the GBPUSD,H1"

Ok, I figured it out. On any chart you put it in the indicator that grump posted you need to have this additional indicator in your indicators folder for it to work (called #(SF_TREND_LINES).mq4 ). It was posted for free at forex-tsd here http://www.forex-tsd.com/indicators-metatrader-4/7690-simple-trend-lines-channels.html . For those of you who do not have membership in tsd forum here it is
