Agree with james. Dubious broker choice, indeed indicating requirements of very tight spreads.

 

I mirrored his account (see his website for investor login) and checking how it trades.

 

Looking at trading history:

1. It trades very fast. In and out with large lots.

2. This is a demo account, since there appears to be no slippage.

3. Will only work with tight spreads and very fast execution.

 

See attachment: tons of trades, all trades open and close within the same minute.

Wonder if that will fly in live trading...

Also downloaded his free indicator...the picture becomes clear now...look at the spreads:

ALL are 1.0 (for all six pairs).

Broker he's using: FIG Solutions Limited, who do offer 1.0 spread (and no commission).

Moreover, I wanted to email him and ask some questions...but I can't seem to find any contact info on this website.

He does not answer the important questions on myfxbook discussion-thread on his greed EA.

 

I think it is the GeniusEA repackaged by a scammer.

 

On myfxbook scammers declare a demo account as a "real" account.

That is deception.

 

I will write to support of myfxbook about this.

Genious trades a bit differently,it would be nice to get a copy of this ea to take a look through the code... Actually nvm its not doing what i thought it was doing, must another repackage scam, we will know for sure in feb 2010..

Would anyone mind pointing me out which ea 4xgreed is suppose to have copied. I hear genius in so many eas that i am not sure which one it is...

The GreedEA is a copy of the GeniusEA although the author claims that he does not know the GeniusEA.

Big coincidence.

The GreedEA is a modified and maybe optimized version of Genius.

Hmmmm, he has deleted his system from his myfxbook account.

 

Not a good sign.

 

Additional 'red flags':

- No mention of moneyback

- No contact info or email address on website

- Very tight TP: you need a reliable broker that has very tight spreads and allows this kind of scalping (sometimes even in and out on same bar)

- Absolutely no slippage...if slippage => loss
