I also faced same problem.

 

I use MB Trade DEMO account. I guess , maybe MT4 file path problem. c/

program/MBT Meta Trader4/. may mt4data can auto find file location to save data.

 

Sorry, Marinko seems not online.. I know it will be an hassle.. But, can you post images here on your settings of MT4Data? Also the Custom Indicator?

 

Are you using Windows Vista?

I am use Windows 7. setting is ok, I tried another expert indicator, it is work well.

I see that it will retrace up a little bit & continue to goes down...

Quick suggestion. If you use Windows 7 or vista, try this.

 

1, Uninstall MT4 software

2, Reinstall MT4 software in a new folder directly under C:\ (do not use program files\)

 

Hmmm.. very strange. hmm...

 

I think I do not know how to solve it at this moment. So sorry that I cannot help now.

oh yes.

i already replied to one member how to do it.

you have to have the mt4data.mql indi running on your chart. then save the chart. using file "save as" in your mt4/experts/file folder.

i opened a new folder for charts in the file folder to save all the csv.ascii files.

once you save it you will not be able to see them.

 

you have to open the files thru advanced get program. i just went thru your thread and did exactly as you instructed.

i could see the ascii files only when i accessed the mt4/experts/file/new folder thru advanced get. file>new chart>

 

if you saved the EURUSD60MIN chart . Type EURUSD60 and click open , it will open.

 

well it worked for me. i spent the whole night on it.

 

but if any questions, if i can help ,let me know.

By the way, not wanting to hide anything, last yesterday, EWO monitor signals is a bit screwed up. Lots of late signal. Thus me got a -30pips yesterday.

As mentioned, EWO was tested only last week & so it is not really tested in all situation.. So not every day is happy day.

 

So of cos, I will still find ways to improve it...

GBPUSD 6th May 2010

 

Here is my prediction for today.

 

Daily Chart

It is still going down. Give me the feeling that today GK election... will bring this pair down.

 

Look at the EWO... so much room to go down.

 

H4 Chart

EWO is supporting the down trend. Target is 1.500 to 1.48 So good target.

EWO here is showing signs of retracement before going down. So please be careful.

So possible target to retrace up is up to 1.52 to 1.525.

This is EURUSD.

 

Seems that there is still no end in down trend yet. Daily & H4 still going for another low I think, looking at EWO.

 

But in H1, there is still a possible of retrace up become coming down.

hey chankl and others;

 

the market really hammered me last night. i must have had over 70 pips in losses. this evening it's been pretty solid; again.

 

Do you think yesterday is ranging market... So moving up & down in london session that's y we hit with SL.

Where else today, it is trending market. So it works very well...

 

So this is true... Thanks means we have to find some indicator for ranging.....

 

Loopyno, any suggestion?

in the tf indicators; when you zoom in the become squares: either red or blue. what does each square represent? meaning lets say all 4 tf are red...when you zoom in you'll see the are red squares. does each square represent a certain amount of time or what?

 

i ask this b/c lets say we see all blue on all tf and there are 4 blue squares in each tf...does that mean that its been going on for a long time and we probably miss the ship? or what?

210 pips! wow. on what pairs?

 

110pips on GU & 100pips on EU. Using both the indicators and Advanced GET.

 

Yes. So when I started the test, it is on trending market.... So it keeps on winning. But when it ranging, although the loss is not that great as we r following H4 trend.

 

On the other hand, we also do not have profit either....

Basically, it is each square is refering to the candle bar of that timeframe. Nothing special. Probably miss the ship... hmmm.. I cannot answer that. It depends on situation.

It still a long way down. Until I see EWO changes in direction, I would not long this pair... But of cos for a 5 to 10pips in scalping this pair is ok.. Wahah

 

H4 Chart

Of cos have to take note on the retracement. I would not be surprised if it shoot up to the sky. for a retracement.

 

Of cos EWO is still down. Still got rooms to goes down

So can means that retracement may be a small one.

 

H1 Chart

EWO is on the way up with 1.50 to 1.52 as my retracement target.
