Try this indicator, maybe you like it. Just add an extra MA line and didn't change anything else.

By default I insert: MA-24, MA-38, MA-62, cos I notice that this fibo nummbers-lines are also an

excellent support & resistance lines.

 

You can easly change those MA settings (if you don't find it useful) in the indicator window, don't

have to hassle with a code.

thanks FX1001 for the indicator.

the index developed just like the predicated this time. Greenline down, made wave 1 and 2 finished. I expect the wave 3 up, therefore I still hold my buy position. However, if I have time to sitter down infront of computer to trade, I would hedge the buy position when the index is down. since I am working fulltime, therefore I just hold the buy position here.

I changed TradeHedge_IA Setup_v3.mq4 script used opening trades on 14 pairs as a live indicator on demo account (this script is in your package in the first post).

Before change it was shorting EU and buying UC, but Don advised as per T101 system it should buy EU and short UC.

Hi Finimej,

it's an interesting idea to reduce the whole method to a one indicator. If you have a look at the single currencies in the basket you'll see that at buying the basket you mostly buy EUR and sell JPY. Therefore, you have an almost perfect correlation between EURJPY and your indicator. For TA I'd recommend to use EURJPY directly because then it's much easier to apply all your tools and indicators.

well, the index has just developed as expected. Now it has come to the previous high, therefore I took a very risk operation, to sell the index from this level, this is a short term counter trend trade. If I am trading on the dollar account, I may will just take the following trend trade. However, since this is a cents account, so I did the sell. It may in the begining has some floating draw down, but in the end of the day, I expect a pull back for both SP500 and forex index on today, thursday 17/9, and a upper day on the friday that is the triple option expiring day.

lets see how it has been developed since.

I did two operation: one buy right at the 61.8% level, the monday morning before I drove to work.

then one sell operation at the previous high level, the thursday morning before I drove to work.

Entry was perfect, but the exit was nausy! I exited buy, because at that time, it formed a lower high, it could be down. so I took profits and exit the buy.

 

The sell exit was even worser, because last friday was tripple expiring day for options, so I expected the window dressing will put the SP500 and forex index higher on friday, so I took profits at the thursday night, which was not cool.

result: gain one week 65.56% profits/account, and +848 pips

 

I have not hade any negative result operation since I started on 2009-08-04. totalt 8 order operations, each operation buy/sell 14 pairs. Only one time, the third operation hade max draw down to around 600pips and came back to profits at 300 pips. This was pure lucky.

Now it is getting harder to guess next week, because the market is near it turning point for the SP500 index and also the USD index is come to historisk support level.

 

but I still give it a guess, and will adjust my guess according to how the market is developing then.

Iran replaces Dollar with Euro in FX

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has ordered the replacement of the US dollar by the euro in the country's foreign exchange accounts.

 

The September 12 edict was issued following a decision by the trustees of the country's foreign reserves, Mehr News Agency reported.

 

Earlier, the Islamic Republic of Iran had announced that the euro would replace the greenback in the country's oil transactions. Iran has called on other OPEC members to ditch the sinking dollar in favor of the more credible euro.

 

Following the switch, the interest rate for the facilities provided from the Foreign Exchange Reserves will be reduced from12 to 5 percent.

 

Since being introduced by the European Union, the euro has gained popularity internationally and there are now more euros in circulation than the dollar.

 

The move will also help decouple Iran from the US banking system.

btw, I think the T101 method is not efficient enough, as you can see some pairs cancel each other partially...

I actually use the same concept to trade collection of USD and JPY pairs, with no cancellations.

The major trend for the T101 line is down, so I do not want to take the buy operation right now, wait for the trend to get clear, mainly I try to find chance to short it. I am not taking this monday morning buy bounce up.

T101 is actually doing mentoring for fee 399USD at his privat blog. Please google

Therefore, he does not real explain it clearly in the open forum like FF or all other place. I have not attend any his mentoring process. Don has tried T101 ea, as far as I known, no T101 EA has been profitable.

look at the picture above, the indice has been developed exactly as the prodication. very strange! I have not taken any trade this week. Because I have other important thing that occupied my mind, besides, even it is on cents account, since it is published out, so I can not take trade as easily as before.

 

I have not take T101s mentorship, as currently I do have trading mentors, although I do not agree what my mentor says as always. I think have a mentorship will be good.

This is my guess for the comming week and week after. I expect the usa index and the forex index will have a high point at te 8/october.

Anyway, I reserve my right to be wrong, and I will adjust my action according to the market price action. Publish my result out, lead to me hestitate to take action last week, so I will not update my account result here anymore. This thread has already show what my method is, so it has less meaning to get continuely updated.

Finimej, I think you've discovered something indeed very interesting. Following your explanation I plotted the indicator on H1, plotted the Fibonacci retracement connecting the recent top and bottom and guess what: after having climbed consistently yesterday, around 38.2 level it showed sign of weakness (shortly before London open) and I decided to run the SELLALL script. One hour later I closed at around +250 pips profit :).

It's T101 BuyAll_pairs indicator, part of the T101 package (together with the scripts, pdf etc.). Place it on H1 chart, narrow the main window where you get the candles and then draw Fibonacci retracement. It's almost magic.

anyways, It seems you getting much better, but not yet with exiting positions. It is like Nina Strategy.

 

I guess there must be some indicator helping you out when to exit based on the trend high-low difference.
