Below is the result of the backtest: http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/3977/eurgbpbacktest.jpg There are trades yesterday, but not on 29th Sep 22hrs onward (which is this morning asia time). So it looks like there are no trades today if you are using FxOpen as broker (spread for FxOpen is 3, so this is not a problem). Maybe we could wait for the trades to happen in the next few days. ⭐ fxknight Posted October 1, 2009 Report Share Posted October 1, 2009 Re: caspian EA Alpari UK MT4 has GMT +1 therefore you need the GBP EA to be set to 23 and 1 and the CHF EA 24 to 3. Original times are 22 - 24 for GBP and 23 - 2 for CHF. The GBP EA will not trade at ECN unless you set the SL and TP to 0. It was not coded for ECN it seems. The CHF EA will trade ECN by default since it sends the initial SL and TP as 0. If someone runs a backtest on both could you post your set files? :shand: Good luck! wesladf Posted October 1, 2009 Report Share Posted October 1, 2009 Re: caspian EA Hello guys, all these questions all of you has been asking is very simple, the EA use GMT 0 so which means that we have default gmt no matter the broker you are using so far we all know that EA owner used FXOPEN which is GMT +2, what we need to do is this install your EA first on demo and see how it perform, but to me I used this EA straight on my live account and as you guys can see it has been so wonderful so far.
