Phoenix48
Re: IvyBot hello, any newest or maybe best settings for this version? thanks Nope. Not yet. I heard they are doing the version 5.1 which will have money management and will maybe trade more often but until then, the version 5.0 is the latest available. Quote Knowledge is power. Phoenix48
Re: IvyBot Phoenix48 do you have the setting for broker 5 digit ? i run with version 5.0 Sorry no, i use a 4 digits broker. But i think i read somewhere in this thread that you just have to add a 0 to your settings. Like changing your TP from 110 to 1100. You should take a look in the whole thread to try to find it. But i don't know if anything else must be changed also. Sorry that i can't help you more than that. Maybe someone else will be able to be more precise than me. Quote Knowledge is power. mak2009
Re: IvyBot It seldom trades. Run it for about a month, the only pairs that trade was usdjpy and eu. usdjpy hit couple of SLs and wiped out all the profit. I hope the newest version is better. Phoenix48
Re: IvyBot live demo or live real? what settings and broker and how are your results? i found the last version of ivybot to be a piece of s*** I use FXOpen and for the settings i use the default settings. The extra settings in the manual worth nothing so don't use it. As for the results, i am in profit but it is a slow grower exactly like in the backtest. I would not trade with that EA alone but i find it to be a good complement to be used in combination with some other better EA. Another point: I am not sure but i suspect this EA to be sensible to the broker you use. Some brokers have more swings and retracement in the pairs than others and this EA don't like that. Some said to have very bad results but, me, with FXOpen, i use it in a real account since it is out and it always performed reasonably. I guess it is a case by case depending on the broker you use. And yes, the usd/jpy is the more dangerous pair it trades, it is the only pair where i have a slight loss. So some people may want to do without that pair. Quote Knowledge is power. Did you stop trading on october 8...? I suggest you demo at least for one month...you would have seen some serious losses today on IVYbot. IVY kept re-entering after hitting SL on EURUSD.....4 times in a row...and 4 times hitting SL, see pic below: http://i34.tinypic.com/33way50.png If you are indeed successful on demo....just keep those settings.
