The phone company said that this is acceptable. But, I have lost trades that way. Also, there is many times a greater execution delay with home dsl. For example, from home, the ping is 80ms to the trading server, using the VPS it goes down to 6ms. Not an important issue unless you are scalping (which I do a lot). :-? Get get you a cheap laptop off eBay.. Thats what I do.. Got several on a little stand in the corner... It dont take a lot to run just MT4.. 4-5 year old laptop is FINE and it will probably have XP on it instead of Vista. Ive bought as cheap as $50.00...
