Capella Posted July 7, 2011 Report Share Posted July 7, 2011 It's not the ex4 or the mq4 file that sends anything to Purebeam, but the decompiler EX4_to_MQ4 might sends something to secureserver.net on port 446 and 80. However, this is easily blocked in the router / firewall settings. So you can download and use the mq4-file I uploaded. It's a plain text-file with the MQ4-sourcecode. It is not impossible, but if you referring to my post, I did not meant that ex4 sends "something". And yes, it is easy to block if you know what to block. That was my warning! You need to set a firewall to block the application and/or these remote hosts. That will prevent it. No one may "educate" decompiler, because at least, inside it, there is a code deffending changes. I noticed though, that it has been compiled from the latest version of MetaTrader 4, which requires a newer decompiler version that the one that I have (EX4_TO_MQ4_225). So we need someone who has this the latest version of the decompiler to decompile it to mq4 first.
