Which broker norman ?

 

FXDD backtest produced more then 160% for 2008 .

 

tested on 4 digit broco default. what settings are u using?

Norman,

 

i did some backtests again and mine are much better then yours for 2008.

 

I found a discription of the bot by the author, have a look.

Anyone forewardtesting this EA ?

 

I have it running on demo account but no trades yet.

 

Live test by author took 4 trades since sept.01.

 

 

This EA customized for anytime before 01 september try thins one and I also beleive On what Norman Said about curve fitting

customised? do u mean optimised? which variables did u optimise? can u post your set file that you used for optimisation?

 

the website says that every sunday a new EA will be posted to members. which makes me think that it requires constant updates to stay working; curve fitting, neuro network, trained; call it what you will, but its the same thing.

 

interesting, i got lower quality results on this version of the EA then the 'originals'.

I mean The original one didnt work after September 1 but this one works and not same result got 5-6 s/l since september first

I have run it on demo for ages...it does badly. I would like to see what happens if the trades are reversed ie it buys instead of selling and vice versa...

Good results are obtained on the EURUSD on 1hr time frame with a 50 or 60 pip S.L.
